Kizz Daniel was born in Ogun state, which is also his state of origin. He hails from Abeokuta North local government area precisely.

The talented artist spent almost all of his early days in Ogun state, attending primary, secondary and university there.

He had always shown a keen interest in music. According to reports, his father was highly supportive of his talent.

However, he didn’t involve full-time in music until he graduated from the University in 2013. He studied Water Resources Management and Agrometeorology (Water Engineering) at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.

While in the university, he pursued music alongside his academics. But it was in 2013, the same year he graduated, he signed a contract with G-Worldwide.

Kizz Daniel released his first official single “Shoye” on May 1, 2014, along with a music video that was directed by MEX. But back then “Shoye” didn’t receive much popularity.

However, his second single “Woju”, released on September 1, 2014, became popular almost instantly. It remained on number 1 spot on several Nigerian charts for many weeks.

In May 2015, Daniel released a third follow up single, “Laye,” on his birthday, along with a video two weeks later which was shot in different locations in the eastern part of Africa and was directed by AJE FILMS.

Kizz Daniel released his first studio album titled New Era on May 14, 2016. Back then he was still signed up with G-Worldwide.

However, Kizz Daniel left G-Worldwide Entertainment in November 2017 to create his own record label, Fly Boy Inc.

As it stands, Flyboy has started flying high. The new record label has started signing up younger talents. Among them are Demmie Vee and Philkeyz.

Kizz Daniel doesn’t seem to be slowing down as far as 2018 is concerned. He has so far released several hit songs, including featuring top artistes like Wizkid and Davido.
