DEVK UMD Introducción

The "accident reporting service" is an automatic emergency call system from DEVK for drivers. It consists of the so-called "accident reporting plug" and the "accident reporting app". In the event of a traffic accident, the accident reporting plug measures the severity of the accident via crash sensors and transmits the data via Bluetooth to the accident reporting app. The app will then trigger an accident report and automatically established a call connection to the nearest rescue center. If the driver does not respond, the rescue service is immediately notified and sent to the scene of the accident.

Only the accident report position and crash data are sent to the rescue center for the purpose of initiating rescue operations. The accident reporting service is not used for driving analysis or for creating driving profiles!
