Carlos Slim Health Institute, A.C. has developed this innovative electronic registration system for vaccination information. The Electronic Vaccination Card is the same National Health Card that we currently use, but a Short Distance Communication or NFC chip is attached to it, which works in a similar way to those that are attached to the windshield of cars to pay automatically at highway toll booths. Thanks to this chip, the vaccination data of each person is included and stored, electronically, in the CEV, also having the support of the data written by hand in the card itself. In this way, every time a person goes to the health services with their CEV, the vaccination staff will be able to read said information and update it quickly and efficiently.
