For You, who loves cooking and You are good at it. It´s all nice but You would like to share Your cookings with others ... and what´s even better ... this is Your chance to make money with Your cooking skills and also save the world. Let´s stop wasting food together!

It all started on our couch ofcourse ... dinner was gone, tummy was full and it all seemed great ... BUT there was something missing – the dessert. Just a piece of cake and life would be perfect ...

But there was no cake in the house. There´s always a choice to bake a cake ... but that was too much of an effort and there was no point of baking an entire cake, because we just wouldn´t have eaten it all. Besides, it would have taken too much time ... and we didnt have all the needed ingridients either.

We could´ve gone to bakery, but it was far. We could have ordered a cake but that would have made the cake too expensive and it would have taken too much time to get it. We wanted the dessert now ...

We knew that our neighbours bake all the time but You can´t just walk up to them and ask for a piece of cake. You just don´t do that, do You ...

So we thought – if there would only be somekind of app to find out who of our neighbours baked today and maybe they are willing to sell a piece or two.

We would buy it and walk the 50 meters to get it ... right now. As You would have to walk there, it could even be seen as sports ☺.

We would get our dessert and they wouldn´t thrown it away tommorrow. Everybody wins.

How to use KOOK as buyer

It´s very simple … You sit on Your couch and look from the app what are Your neighbours been preparing today. You find the food that You like, You buy it for a very good price and go pick it up. As all the cooks are living very cloce by, there should be only few minutes to walk to get Your breakfast, lunch or dinner

You pick the food up, eat it and enjoy life. But don´t forget … by using the app and eating whats offered in Your neighbourhood, You also help stop wasting food and saving the planeet. Thank You for that!

How to use KOOK as seller

It´s also very simple … You cook … You eat … and You sell what was left over. So You can make money and the same time stop wasting food and save the world.

You cook Your food, take a beautiful photo of it.

Name Your cooking and describe what is it. So it would be easier for Your buyers to find it, label Your cooking (is it soup, cake or fish, is it spicy or vegan or sweet). You can also add information about the content.

You put a price per portion (it can be price for a piece of cake or whole cake or by weight 100g or 500g or however did You described the portion. You let Your buyers know how many portions do you have to offer.

You mark the latest time that You are ready to give out Your cookings. Maybe You have time till 17:00 before You go to the gym or You are staying at home all evening and are ready to give it out till 23:00 or maybe You are offering breakfast only til 13:00.

You mark the address where you can be found and add info about the pick-up if needed (maybe you want the buyer to come quietly cause Your baby is sleeping or something).

You check Your offer and if everything is good … you publish it … and get paid for Your effort … and what´s also important, You don´t waste food and help the world to come a better place. Thank You for that!
