  I completed the run in just half an hour, and there are a few faults. The 408's sounds aren't there. Apart from that it's very good. Despite being only 13 miles in total, it's worth it for the cheap as chips price. The lineside scenery is stunning and the route is enjoyable-while it lasts. There's the right train, the good scenery, a slight sound problem and interior view, and brilliant for expansion and begginers. Trains: 8/10 Scenery: 10/10 Stations: 10/10 Sounds: 6/10 Route: 10/10 Overall: 44/50

  This route is awsome and I Like it because there is a lot of scenerey, a few stations, and a lot of trees, few towns, and my best favorite is how Rydle Pier Head, and yeah this route is very good

  The Isle of Wight Route Add-on was one of my first DLC items for this DLC-filled game, and it probably is, after the Sacramento Northern, my favorite DLC (and I own A LOT of them!) I've never been to the Isle of Wight, therefore I cannot judge the route on it's similarity to the real route. Some people noted the 'bad' sound effects from the class 483. I've never heard them, so I won't critizise that either. It's worth buying anyway. GENERAL INFO: - Charming and suprising route rich of variety in environment, but also in rolling stock and operations. The route is divided into two portions: the Island Line, a third-rail line stretching from Shanklin to Ryde Pier Head, and the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, a heritage steam railway from Smallbrook Junction (where it meets the Island Line) to Wootton. The routes are physically connected, allowing for special, galas etc. - Rolling stock include: The class 483 (LT 1938 Underground stock) in NSE and LT Red liveries; The 0-4-0T 'invincible' accompanied by two 'push-pull' carriages and a Southern wooden plank waggon; A special Personnel Carrier accompanied by a small Support Trailer. PRO'S: - Slighty aged but incredible route(s) that feel(s) very alive, with enjoyable scenery. - Authentic and unique rolling stock, all absolutely fantastic to drive. - Southern Territory route that allows you to run Southern Railway stock on the IoWSR, quite rare in TS. - Both routes are (for me) exactly the right length: not to long, not to short. Reduces the boredom factor. - Very good and varied standard scenarios, and you get a lot of them (some scenarios are also in career mode available). - Workshop routes/scenarios set in the 'near future': proposals for the real line or just the imagination of the author. - You can drive trains on a pier. For this alone you should buy this route ;) - Classic range, so a bargain. CONS: NONE! Seriously, you have to have this route. I had to give this route the thumbs up it rightfully deserves. Don't wait for a sale: the route is so worth it on full price. Tip: the class 486, even older Underground stock that served the line from 1967 to the introduction of the 1938 stock, is available for FREE on uktrainsim.com, under 'Railworks'.

  This is very nice dlc, with lot of scenarios and this class 438 is very very good to drive. I recommend to buy this add-on.

  One of the best DLC's in Train Simulator. Really cheap, has many engaging scenarios covering many different weathers and incidents and is a lovely route. The 483 train can be slightly annoying to drive but apart from that it is incredible and I would highly recommend it!
