  My english sucks, who cares, if you can´t handle that don´t read. mm, it´s a map not planet and not that big, so i don´t understand about people who tells that resources are too far lol. And with jet pack´s it´s even faster, with teleporters mhm. With drones you don´t have to leave base anymore. Resources mostly fall in to your face more than you need if you really don´t want to move your ass. Easy, relaxing game even with "intense" settings (with 80h) i died once because run out of food before reached back to base for pick my first fruit.

  So, after about 8.5 hours of gameplay, I finally got to the "soft endgame" of the Early Alpha build - the Insect stage. My impressions are sort of... mixed, and here's why. The game on normal difficulty plays a lot like Subnautica on peaceful mode - no enemies, no real hazards aside from fall damage and occasional meteor showers, and I haven't died once to asphyxiation or thirst yet. It also plays like Factorio or maybe Satisfactory, with how much you have to build and craft, but don't expect sprawling factories or massive mining plants - all the resources are literally lying around and you have to run and mine them No Man's Sky style. Graphics are phenomenal, as is performance - I did not expect it to run on max settings with over 60 FPS on an RTX 2060 with so much foliage and water and whatnot. A lot of my idle time was spent just admiring the scenery and whizzing around the world on a jetpack. Speaking of jetpack. This currently is the only mode of transportation in the game with infinite fuel, and as soon as I got it, the game got massively easier. It also got me clipping into a lot of cliffs and weird places, which was also really fun :D I would prefer something like an electric buggy, with the jetpack running on biofuel or something for the sake of balance, but as it's Alpha, it's really not an issue. What I really didn't like, and I hope the devs will fix in the future, is the bad use of scientific measurements as progress bars. Here's a TL;DR. When you reach the (currently endgame) Insect stage (presumably when animal life starts to flourish), your planet has roughly 2 Pascals of atmospheric pressure, some 20 mK (0.02 K) of heat and 10 ppm of oxygen. On their own, these numbers don't say anything, but here's what we have on Earth: 101325 Pascals of pressure, 293 K of temperature and 209460 ppm of oxygen. Our planet literally has: an atmosphere 50 thousand times less dense than Earth, close to absolute zero in temperature and oxygen content fit for a vacuum chamber somewhere in a lab. This is not livable, and makes absolutely zero sense when you look at it from a scientific perspective. It also made me laugh a lot, when I saw grass and liquid water outside in what is essentially -273 C (-459.7 F) and no atmosphere to speak of. Altogether, I recommend it. It's addictive, plays really well, and aside from that one flaw, is probably one of the better terraforming games out there. Worth a demo try or even a buy, if you're into it.

  I am 81 years young and love The Planet Crafter. It makes me remember things and how to get to the mines and wrecks. Its fun to build everything from an barren land into a beautiful landscape with trees and flowers and my style of buildings . Great Job !!

  It's a great game even in early access. it's subnautica on a mars-like world. BUT BE WARNED - DO NOT START BUILDING A BASE on lower ground, eventually the whole base will be swallowed up into a lake, find some decently high ground or it will break your game many hours in as it did to me. I had to watch as the water line slowly drew closer and closer to everything i had build until it was too late. developers - please stress to players more heavily than a very vague hint about building in altitude. the fact that the default landing zone is in an area that becomes a lake is going to cause this issue for many people if you don't somehow warn them more clearly.

  Best game I've played in a long time. I thought it was going to be dumb, but figured why not since the demo is free. Got hooked and woke up from a daze 7 hours later after playing it nonstop. 10/10 would recommend. It has some minor issues, but all in all for a indie developed game made by two people it's better than a lot of AAA games with multi-million dollar budgets. PLAY THE DEMO, YOU WONT REGRET IT.

  Awesome single player survival game. No Monsters to kill. Just you against the world. Figure out how to survive from the elements. 127 hours so far. 54 yo Female. Still early access, but updates keep coming and the developer is really responsive to working on any bugs, so they don't stay long. I love this game.

  This is proof that demos work. I would never have gotten this game had I not experienced the demo beforehand. Try the demo. It's a long demo, so you'll know if you like it. Protip if you're starting out: build on higher ground. You'll see why.
