Project Lazarus 機能

Project Lazarus is a reverse bullet hell, mech survival game with rogue-lite elements! Snowball your mech's arsenal to outlast the wave of alien monsters. Pick up items and crystals to level up, install and upgrade your mech and establish fire superiority. Every mech has its own control scheme and weapon installation slots, so make the right choice for the environment and your style of gameplay. Then, deploy your mech to the ground of an alien planet and survive the drop!

We envision 3 main features for Project Lazarus to be ready for full release.

1) Base game mode (Survival), which is complete.

2) A variety of unique mechs and weapons.

3) An alternative game mode that we plan to add in the future.

At the time of Early Access release, Project Lazarus features

6 Mechs with unique control scheme

15 Weapons

3 Stages

The best Vampire Survivors clone i have encountered so far, seems like really solid experience even for early access. Some of the sounds seems kind of annoying for me but that's personal preference. Good job guys, it's fun.

Yes, this is another VS clone but, man, you have to give it credit for amazing graphics/animation! As opposed to gaining spells on levelups, you're installing new weapon platforms and auxiliary components. Also different here is that, more in the vein of a standard twin stick shooter, while all of the weapons auto-fire and reload, you get to control the aiming. I also love how there are multiple mechs to unlock with their own unique slot configurations, stats, and unique perks, like the Dozer mech that can regain health by running over baddies.

One of this games biggest issues is going to be people expecting it to play like VS and being extremely frustrated early game because it does a poor job of explaining itself. (I almost gave up on it twice until I discovered new mechanics just in time) First, weapons/items are PER SLOT, you can have multiple of the same weapon on your mech that upgrade independently. Don't even bother trying to survive for long periods when you first start (it's not fun at this point anyway, you're slow and clunky, the target is not precise, etc) Grab as much of the loot that lets you purchase upgrades before you load in and accept your deaths. Once you get the initial choices upgraded a bit, everything begins to get a little more intuitive. Only 5 hours in but the game seems like it could be a nice alternative if you'd prefer longevity/intricacies over the pure dopamine blast of VS Couple of beefs I do have: XP gems disappearing over time annoys the shit out of me. If devs are set on this mechanic, then please have them disappear offscreen if the time-to-travel to reach them isn't sufficient. Absolutely hate the feeling of trading armor/health to dive into mobs for a green/red only to have the gem fade away as I reach it. Something is suspicious with the proc rates of items tied to their upgrades. In the first hour, items seemed to be random and evenly distributed. I found a couple builds I liked and dumped all my upgrade currency into those items. Next 4 hours and I haven't had those items proc a SINGLE TIME during play... what gives? Change the cursor to something other than a crosshair/target. Early game when you have a single, weak projectile, having it miss a mob when the target seems to be perfectly placed makes it feel like the game is broken. (it's because your one, single cannon is not centered on the mech).

Like this more than Vampire Survivors. Think its because presentation is better. Progression through the game is fun. Mechs have different control schemes and slots. Weapons are also a good aspect of the game.

I'd like to give it a neutral review, but since there is no such function, here is thumbs down. 1. The main issue is that those games are usually about making some crazy combos of weapons and perks/upgrades. You make a monstrocity of a shooting hell, your bullets pass through enemies and ricochete off of them, you explosions create more explosions that kill enemies which then explode on death with more projectiles. There is no such thing in this game as far as I've seen. You have several weapons like a gun and a shotgun; you have several "other" weapons like rocket launcher or poison clouds. And you have several upgrades that boils down to - you shoot faster or stronger. No interesting persk, no funny combinations, no chain reactions. Weapons and upgrades do not interact with each other. 2. Controls are very uncomfortable. Each character has a different control and aiming scheme and they are all bad. I understand that the dev tried to make them "thematic" to the nature of the specific character, but it just made them bad. 3. Aiming is bad. You can't predict if you'll hit an enemy or not. The game has an isometric camera and 3d objects, and they have height. It means that it's hard to tell if your current line of bullets would cross and enemie or not. 4. The UI is very confusing. Every character has several slot types, and it's hard to tell which slot types are for what weapons since they are all the same. There are many smaller issues like disappearing exp gems if you don't pick them up, but it all pales withe #1 issue of game being "all the same" every time you play the same character. And I don't see how it will change with time unless a completely new system is introduced.

Yet another Vampire Survivors clone but set in futuristic world with mechs. Difference is that you have to aim with your weapons and if you want to climb leaderboards you really have to experiment with builds. That game got me hooked for some time. After 30+ hours and gaining rank 1 on one of the maps (not 1st anymore :( ) I've decided to take a little break from this game and wait for some updates. It's definitely worth the money. HIghly recommended for any VS fan. Solid 8/10

This really has huge potential. Turn music of in-game and use your own.

One of my favorite things about this genre that Vampire Survivors has kicked off, is the trend copying of the $3 price tag. Not that any of these games aren't worth more, they certain are, but the rather tiny tag in exchange for the fun you get really makes it easy to get into the genre and pick up multiples. This game has a pretty fun take on the genre, which each mech having different movement, controls, and loadout options. Weapons are divided into three styles, primary, secondary, and 'Dreadnaught' (which, frankly, is an excellent name). Each of the mechs has unique perks, a different number of slots for weapons of each time, as well as mounting spots (which matters for some, but not all weapons, and to differing amounts for the ones it does matter on). Passive upgrades, or 'Expansions' as they're called in this upgrade, also have a number of slots, with some of the mechs/characters having more slots for them than others. Different to other things in this genre, you can install the same weapon multiple times on your mech, rather than just upgrading the one you already have installed. This can be to great benefit, because the meta-upgrades don't actually improve your mech, but they improve the starting level of the modules you install. For example, upgrade the machine gun twice in the armory, and when you install it in a slot, it'll start at Level 3, instead of level one. In the aspects of this game that I hope get expanded on...it could use a little bit of a tutorial for some aspects. For example, armor only reduces damage when you have Armor Plating (AP), otherwise you take full damage from colliding with an enemy. Which leads to my last point, I'm hopeful the balancing gets improved, at the moment, there's not a lot of variety in how you can play, you either need critical armor to take no damage from any enemies (because if you take damage at all, you might reduce your AP to 0, which means you'll now take full damage from everything, including the little critters you've been ignoring), or overwhelming firepower to kill everything before it can damage you. Which is a bit of how the genre goes, it's true. Lastly, some of the mechs seem to have better static abilities than others. For example, the Dozer has a nice ability to get bonus AP when you run over an enemy, but it doesn't really explain anywhere the specifics of running over enemies. I think it might be a function of movement, movespeed, armor, or so on, but I am in no way certain. This ability is nice at the start, but quickly falls off later as there are no longer any enemies you can actually run over. TL;DR - Game is quite a bit of fun, some nice interesting unique systems for how weapons/upgrades work in the run, and a pretty enjoyable gameplay loop in the bullet heaven genre. Has room for shine and improvement in balance, progression, music and sound design.

For the price (2.39€) this game is a bargain and great fun. All achievements taken in just over 20 hours, probably less as have had the game running and walked off also. Some suggestion notes to make the game better in the future... -More combinations of weapons as as it is, it eventually becomes repetitive and playing a half hour round to try beating a high-score only with very limited builds gets old fast. Evolutions of combining different weapons would be nice and feel like you have more to explore when creating builds. -More achievements, as I imagine I'm not alone as a player who loves a target to chase. Would also give the game more longevity without necessarily having to do anything special. The hardest achivement here almost 20% of players have made it an easy game to "Perfect". -Ability to change the colour of the crosshair. I often lose track of it in the worst of pickles. -More levels, although for the price it is as saying before a bargain. However the game is a bit short and leaves you wishing there was more out there to sink your teeth into.
