  When I bought and played the first Plantera I thought it was a hidden gem but with a pacing issue towards the end for achievement hunters, but for everything I think the original did wrong - which wasn't very much at all - Plantera 2 does perfectly. Brilliant pacing, an actual endgame of sorts, and an overall better vibe. Feels like a direct upgrade over the first game. Already wishing for a 3rd game!!

  I’m so happy Plantera 2: Golden Acron is out finally! As a huge fan I was awaiting the release since ages, and so far, I am not disappointed. Plantera 2 is a relaxed Idle game where you slowly build our own garden and expanding it. Planting trees bushes, flowers, and other various plants. You can employ little cute animals to help your harvest your fruits and other goods, which reward you with gold and exp, which in return is used to expand your garden. It's a very nice loop. I haven’t played super much yet, but if it is any like the first, I can wholeheartedly recommend the game to anyone that looks for a good relaxing idle game with a lovely art style ^-^

  I love this game. I have been following the development of this game for over 3 years after having played the original Plantera, and my expectations were met and I am very happy! This is a very easy and casual game. I got all the achievements in around 6 hours of playtime. The reason I love this game so much is because of how cute and simplistic the graphics are, and how easy it is to play and progress. I suffer from a serious mental illness, and games like this one in particular really help my anxieties and help calm my nerves. Even though I have all the achievements, I can see myself booting up this game every day just because of the simple form of therapy it gives me. I would recommend this game to anyone.

  A game I've been looking forward to for years ever since it was announced, and what can I say? It's really good, if you liked planrera you'll like plantera 2. It's more of the same and I mean that in the best way possible

  Just as good as the original if not better. The new options to speed up harvesting, production and gold income rates are great for those looking to finish the game quicker or simply seeking to expand their dream garden while ignoring objectives. Offline progression means you don't need to leave the game running to progress, great if you have something outside the house that needs doing. Several new animals and plants to unlock alongside the returning ones from the first game. Most achievements unlock as you play, the few needing hunting down are easy to complete without a guide. Expect from 5 to 15 hours to 100% depending on your chosen style of play. Easy recommend at regular price, out of all the chill farm games the two Plantera titles are amongst the best.

  I would give this game a mixed review if I could. The game is cute and as far as idle games go there is a lot happening on the screen to keep your eyes sated. Unfortunately there's just not a lot of depth. I finished everything except an arbitrary level achievement by leaving the game open overnight. I was hoping for more complexity and a longer game time than the original.

  Quick note: Idle games are my favorite genre. I kept reading about how this game was in development for quite some time and so I expected a well made game. I have finished Plantera 1 and thought to myself: "Let's buy Plantera 2 and get all achievements too." Bought it and got all achievements in around 4 hours. The game itself uses the same formula as Plantera 1. Plant trees, bushes, vegetables and replace them, once you have unlocked a better version of it. So it is pretty much the same as the first Plantera minus the addition of deco points, which is supposedly used to show how well your garden looks and thus giving you the opportunity to upgrade your acorn tree. Without any disrespect toward the developer, but this should have been a DLC for Plantera 1. Plantera 2 adds almost nothing new to the series and if you have played Plantera 1, then you have also already played Plantera 2. This makes me wonder where all the development time has went into. In case you haven't played Plantera 1 yet, you might go for Plantera 2, otherwise stay away from this game until they add new meaningful content. ONLY big plus for Plantera 2 are the achievements, which aren't obnoxious as in the first game.

  My review to Plantera 2: Golden Acorn The little round blue helpers are back. Take care of the big magic oak and make it grow towards the sky and collect the golden acorns, also plant different fruit trees, plant vegetables and take care of the invaders in your garden. You can also enlarge your garden and upgrade many things. There are also 40 Steam-achievements and very pleasant music. If you liked part one or even loved it you can safely pick this one up. It's a cute and colorful little game it's worth it in any case.

  I recommend it in any case!

  A simple and cute clicker that's just as much fun as the first one. Your aim is to grow your farm and upgrade your oak tree as you play. The game does collect resources for you when you're offline, but it only does it for a limited amount of time until you buy relevant upgrades. Personally, I like that mechanic, but I understand that some people may not. If you're looking for an idle game that you can play while waiting in game lobbies, then Plantera is the right game for you.

  super fun collectathon game, completed with all the available achievements in under 4 hrs (could prolly do it in 3 w/o breaks) looking forward to the dev possibly adding some achievements from the original Plantera to continue the fun. edit:4.23.23-> new legacy achievements were added from the original game :) it was just updated to run on the deck, tho i never tried it. but would make a great pick-up-and-go game. Thanks Varagt!
