  Full Game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0h6vWVCivgU&ab_channel=TheBaldMan I finished in 4 hours, without rushing. The story is nice, music is great and the gameplay is nice as well. The companion is cute. There are some puzzles that you have to think a bit but nothing too hard, to not be able to pass. If you finish the game once, I guess you can still replay it but only for achiv, because the story will be the same.   The long awaited Planet of Lana arrived today and it is a very SPECIAL game. You will both laugh and cry along with Lana as she sets out on her perilous journey with her newly acquired "friend" in what must be for me, the game of the year. If you're on the fence about getting this game, get off your ass and come down here and buy the game, don't waste another second, Lana and her pal need all the help they can get so please lend a helping hand and enjoy a wonderful experience into the bargain. This is an exceptionally beautiful game and I love it. I will take my time with this one and savour every single second. 10/10

  Puzzles/Gameplay 2/10 -There were 1 or 2 good puzzles within the game the rest is just really simple content that never expands on the concepts that are introduced -The amount of repeated stealth segments is mind numbing, they have to be added to pad the runtime IDK what other reason -Out of place QTE sequencences -The last Hour of the game virtually has 0 puzzles or gameplay Visuals 8/10 +The graphical style is really nice and and the painterly environments are pleasant +A few stand out backdrops that are great to look at -Some of the environments i found interesting were only played in for like <5 minutes and i would have liked to stick around and do some more puzzles within them -Death animations were very lackluster in comparison to other titles where the character clearly just touches some collision box and instantly goes limp, you can just die from touching a monster that doesn't even notice you Sound 7/10 + Sounded fine overall with some decent environmental + I like the jingle + Enjoyed the sound of the characters speaking and the cat - The vocal song that is played feels really cheesy and on the nose -Multiple cut outs of music and sound effects (IDK if its my computer) Preformance 7/10 +Overall preformed nice besides a few audio glitches -My character did not load in one of the scenes after a transition and then black void, upon "reload last chapter" the game crashed Story 4/10 + Plot leads the character to pleasant environments - Very derivative, its visuals and story have been done to death - Nothing surprising or thought provoking in the story Other - Collectable shrines not rewarding It took me about 2-3 hrs to beat the game for first time and another 2ish hrs to find the collectables ( alot of repeated slow segments and unskipable cutscenes) Overall Id give the game like a 5/10 I enjoyed looking at things but the puzzles were very shallow

  Graphics : 10/10 Gameplay : 3/10 Puzzles are like slow & easy > redundant & easy > slow, redundant & easy > wtf is this. considering refund. 1 hour in, and I don't like any of these puzzles, not a single one. Compare to Limbo, Inside, little nightmares, battleblock etc. I prefer those. Story wise, there's no story, it has a start (The Introduction part, animation-wise is 10/10 as well), but after the "introduction", it's no plot at all. I'm not sure about the end, 'cause I haven't endure this game to it's end. It's a game I'm playing after all, no watching short animation. So I don't recommend this game This would've been a great game, if devs are good at making puzzles. But unfortunately, no is no.

  It's pretty and the story is intriguing. It's not particularly clever. The puzzles are obvious, you just go through the motions. They make you repeat pointless actions a lot. Gameplay did not improve. Looks lovely but its stale old mechanics. Nothing new here.

  iiiiiiiiiiiiluuuuuuuu!!!! +Great game, very beautiful design, crisp sound, nice story, fun characters! - Very repetitive puzzles, many long stretched parts, missing the special something. I do recommend the game but was hoping it had a bit more to it. First playthorugh played 4 hours and might get back again for the 100%, but it is not a 2nd playthrough that will be exciting unfortunately.

  Art and sounds are really good but the gameplay is just so bad it made playing it feel like a chore. Unlike other titles like Gris, with similar themes, I was so disengaged from the game it felt more boring than interesting. Dreadfully long hallways holding down S for what felt like 10 minutes.... For anyone out there wanting to play this game, watch someone play it on youtube and you'll be happy you saved the money.

  Beautiful if simplistic

  As someone who's a fan of the travelling from left to right puzzle/platformer genre; this game feels lacking. If you compare it to games like Limbo/Inside the puzzles are almost nonexistent. There were only two puzzles in the whole game that actually made me recognise they're a puzzle and stop to really look at what it was I had to do. Everything else was just going through the motions. Though games like Limbo/Inside managed to also have a sense of tension, a kind of unease to push you forward, even just a curiosity about the world that makes you want to see more. I'd even say the Far games (Lone Sails and Changing Tides) manage to capture a sense of almost panic, pressuring you to succeed. Where Planet of Lana I just never felt any real engagement from the game, no reason to feel like I wanted to see more. The game just feels slow without that special something to make it stand out. The game also does the telling the background story through the... well background. Finding collectables to explain whats happening in the world but, it all feels very surface level. You can ignore the collectables as it's very easy to predict the plot just from a few hints the game drops early on. There's no twists, no turns, just what you'd expect it to be. If this game existed in a bubble where there was nothing else like it I'd recommend it, but if you compare it to similar games I just can't recommend it. It's just it feels like there are a lot of repeated scenes and puzzles to stretch out what little play time it has. There's even a few slow panning scenes with emotional music with nothing really happening just to admire the scenery if that's the type of thing you're into. Oh there's even some QTE sections which, for me, kinda killed the tone of the scenes. Like there's a scene from the early trailer but it's not gameplay it just has some button prompts plastered over the top of it.
