  The base game is free, I bought this impulsively since I wanted to support the developors, and boy I'm really glad I did. I'd already seen art of the game for years and as a bara enthusiast, Senpai was always the underdog(cat?). The moment the little shit popped on screen and spoke, my heart was stolen and I began attempting to romance him. If you don't have mandarin trauma from school like I do, there's pretty much no reason not to get this. The voice actors performed very well, especially Senpai. I definitely wouldn't have enjoyed the game as much as I did if not for the voices. PS, the voices can help you discern intent in some sections. Things that can only be conveyed through voice are indeed conveyed, and you'll miss these little details without this dlc. It's not necessary, but it amplifies the experience. Really hope they keep the voice actors in the sequel, should it ever exist

  I don't speak any Chinese whatsoever, but it's still really awesome to be able to hear my three feline husbandos. Plus, I'll support this great game in any way I can. Now I just gotta bide my time until the English dub happens! P.S. Please make it happen.

  Definitely worth it for the voice work. It adds a lot to the personalities of each character to hear their voices. And it's nice to support the game.

  Well I regret buying this. Don't get me wrong, I like hearing the voices. Just, if it was spaced with the damn text. Listening to three lines of dialogue while only being able to read the first line sucks. I don't speak mandarin so I want to know what he's saying WHILE listening, you know? Put the tone together with the meaning. Sync the damn thing. You obviously can, since it happens with some lines. Or show the entire text that is spoken, when the voice pack is on. I do not care if it's a wall of text-ish situation. This has put me off playing the game entirely... especially because it's impossible to tell when it's gonna happen. I dunno if I'm just bein' picky here but it's really destroying my enjoyment >.>'
