  this game is not ready - very choppy graphic - perform laggy (even with high spec pc) - unrealistic breaking stuff mechanism (its so nerve wracking) - no cooking animation - NPC cannot use available fridge if there are 2, they always queue at 1 - made my ears bleed whenever hearing the chef cutting items - a lot of graphical bug - no available post tutorial (how to book or something) - many of the rules are maddening, why dev set limit to food price? let player decide! its a sim game! - you cannot repair second floor window when it breaks (it lower ur rating), when game just started and u didnt even have access to second floor! - the waiter are dumb af, why they didnt collect tips, we have to did it ourself - you cannot upgrade trash bin or buy more than 1, it will be filled in short time, very stupid - trash can spawn OUTSIDE of your restaurant, and still lower ur rating - we cannot hit the hobo who threaten our business, or call cops - firefighter annoyingly came to us just to demand tax whenever one of the alarm broke off, like seriously which dev made this scenario and put it into the game? it can't be more annoying than this - things broke off very fast, apparently making 15 pizza broke ur fridge! you might want to wait for several months, considering the state of this game

  Okay so yeah I gave it a thumbs down but at least read why first before you scroll down okay? Look technically the game functions the way you'd expect. The game technically does what it sets out to do and normally I give a game a thumbs up for that. You can manage your cafe, customize it, clean it, expand it, hire staff, order raw foods, choose menu items and I could keep going. It's not a bad little game. So why am I giving it a thumbs down? Simply because it's broken. For me, out of 3 attempts, I could not save my game. So it makes me restart every time. Plus some buttons not working, quests not being accepted, a few U.I. problems, lag and frame skipping, and a few other minor details, the game is not stable or technically sound as of time of writing this. It looks ugly, sounds average, and doesn't offer anything new to the genre other than the same ole basic simulators that are flooding steam nowadays. Is it awful? Not in design or idea. But it's broken, unimaginative and lackluster. But...maybe it was just my copy of the game that was broken. Maybe there is more here than you see within 2 hours. Maybe you love these games so much that you don't mind the risk of getting a broken copy. If that's the case then you'll probably really enjoy this game. I mean the price is appropriate and its overall concept is pretty sound. So it's up to you out there if you want to take the risk or not.   To be honest, I've never played simulator games before so I can't really tell you if this game deserves "YES" or "NO" but what makes me decide to buy this game is... I was reading the reviews and I saw the developer is working hard on this so... Hi Matt !! I bought this game to let you know that I see your efforts. What you're trying isn't wasted!! Keep going :D PS. I enjoyed the game and the background music was awesome tho.

  So, visually, it's kind of "I would like 6.7 kg of graphical assets please." And gameplay wise, it's very, very limited. Lots of stuff like "get the tool to hose hobo vomit off of the cat and press H", while anything that would actually give the cafe any personality is very, very limited. You have a building with a set layout that you can add a very limited range of furniture and fixtures to. The actual food service is pretty simplistic for a restaurant game, and doesn't really have any fun mechanics in the loop.

  So I went through the tutorial and everything, and it turns out the game is more just...chore simulator than anything. you spend more time raking up leaves and fixing your broken windows and foundation blocks than actually working in a cafe. From what I can tell all you can do is just stand at the register and take orders. You can't cook the food yourself, when you have a dish to serve you can't just click on the covered plate to pick it up, you have to go through the menu of the register just to grab the dish. I want to be able to cook the food if I want to, to be one of the cooks. Not just be the cashier pressing the pictures of what the customer wants, and then waiting for the cook to do their job so I run around and clean up everything around the property. The idea is there...but I feel this game needs a LOT more to do, more freedom, than just being a cashier and money slave. Ordering things from the tablet, putting them in the freezer, being a simple cashier. The fun of restaurant/cafe simulators is the cooking, the decoration, the building customization. it's not fun being a cashier or a cleaning/repair bot. This game has the right idea...it just needs a lot more love before it's something that can wow me. As it is now I really don't think people would enjoy it for more than just a few hours. It's too simple, there needs to be more, more polish. But hey...at least it's cheap.

  The first part of this game I enjoyed immensely. It's comparable to House Flipper where you pick up trash and other stuff and then decorate the restaurant. When I was done with my own restaurant, I got an e-mail to ask me to decorate another restaurant. Which I think is a very clever way to get people who enjoy the decorating side of this game to get a lot more out of it. And there are cats! Cute little kitties who meow and you can pet them. Oh and there is bigfoot who let's out a pretty frightening roar. But who cares, did I mention there's kitties? Also, the tutorial is very well done to my opinion. Not too invasive and extensive but enough to get the idea of what you have to do. But after my initial enthusiasm for this game, I did start to notice some cracks: - Your employees lose motivation extremely quick and the only way for them to get it back is to pay them an amount of money. This costs about 40 every time for just a little bit of motivation they get back. An alternative is to just fire them and hire new ones, which then costs money to pay a headhunter. I'm someone who believes a business falls or stands with it's employees and would like it way better if I could build a relationship with them. Offer them educations, their preferred job, salary raise (but not as extreme as it is now), preferred worktimes, a nice work environment with expensive things... Now they just all feel like ungrateful and whiny people. After less than a day they're already out of motivation. - You can change the interior but as far as I can tell you can only change the colour of the building outside. For the rest the options are rather limited. You can't change window types, tiles, the entrance or any other things. - Why can I make a ceiling with tiles, a floor with tiles but not a wall with tiles? A kitchen or bathroom really would look much better with tiles on the wall instead of stones or wallpaper. Who puts wallpaper in a professional kitchen?! - I hired a cleaner and I greatly appreciate that this option exists. But why is the guy standing outside to wait all the time? When the waiter has nothing to do he goes to the waiter station. Wouldn't it make more sense to also make a cleaning station? - You can't see reviews until you're level 8. Which means I have no idea what guests think of my restaurant or my dishes or anything like that. I have no way to see if I should change something and I also don't get positive feedback (like, award for best menu or customers thinking 'this restaurant is very clean). From what I understand more comfort means more customers but I don't think I can see comfort level anywhere. For that matter, in the shop you can't see if an item of let's say 150 gives less comfort than an item of 600. - Ordering food really needs some work in my opinion. First of all, the page is a dark orange and then when you have less than 5 of an item it lights up red. I'll say it again, orange - dark red... In other words, the colours are almost the same and it's not very easy to tell which ones you need. It also would be nice to decide for yourself how few of an item need to be left before it warns you. Because if I wait until I have only 5 of products, it's going to be sold out by the time I find out I needed it. Because you also need to clean and get tips on the tables and stuff like that. On this same matter, do you later get an option to automatically order? And can you hire someone to bring the boxes in? Or can you at least buy like a trolley to take multiple boxes at once? This takes so much time and seems so useless, especially in late-game. (And also on that matter, does the walk-in freezer get any bigger? Because it really is not so big). - The cats are adorable and so super cute. But I have 2 questions about them. The first is, why do they randomly change colour? I go to an assignment and they were red, I come back and they're gray. I go to an assignment again and then they're red again. The second question is, why are there cats that I can pet but they don't do anything useful? Can I not befriend them and have them chase rats? Can I not feed them and have like a restaurant cat? Or better yet, a cat café! - I don't like the way the game depicts homeless people. They're all drunk and mumble stuff and then after running away a couple times they ask for money to buy more alcohol. If you don't give the money they will come back a couple times to damage your windows. Why not instead make it so you can pay them for bringing the boxes in? Or you can offer them a free meal in the restaurant? Why are they all vindictive and drunk? Some homeless people are exactly that, homeless and... Here it comes... PEOPLE! Sure, there's addicts and what not. But there's also people just needing a hand. Why not focus on the positive things. - Great that you can buy things in the shop and that whenever you level you get more options. Not so great that those options don't give me any information. This stove has more stars than the other one. Does that mean it's better? And if so, in what way? Is the food better tasting? Does it prepare the dishes faster? Is there an incentive to change which equipment I use? Also, it would be handy to see an example of floors or walls that you want to buy. And maybe when you click something that it gives you some information on the item. Or what you need for said item. Or if you need to buy something else to make it work. Or if said painting has a frame or not. - And then my biggest irritation point at the moment, although there are options to turn off rats, bums and cockroaches, there are no options to change keys and there are also no options to change the game speed. Which means for the last hour or so I've been stuck on the mission where you need to buy shelves and sell products. I have the shelves and the products but almost no customers buy them. Do I need to wait? Is it to do with skills and your employees telling customers to buy an extra dish? If so, would've been nice if they'd explained that. Now I can't make the game go any faster and I'm just stuck here waiting. I can't go do something else since I have to buy supplies and I can't buy a big amount since the freezer is small as heck. But there's not enough to keep me entertained or busy. Adding some minigames could help with this too. - To continue on this topic, I don't see any way to tell what the things you spend skillpoints on actually do. Does the number I get for assignments get higher? I have no idea, there's no indication that I get less or more. Does the speed actually change? Do customers buy an extra dish? There's no way to measure this. No bar to see how high the employee's speed is. On a sidenote here, if your employees work slower because of no motivation (which is pretty much always) can I fix this then by adding skillpoints in speed? I'm so confused. - And last but not least, a small issue where the game tells you that you need to be level 4 before you can hire a cashier. But it fails to mention that when you hire said cashier, you also need a waiter. And to get a waiter, you need a waiter station. It took me a while to figure that out and I don't see why I can't let the cashier take the orders but then just be waiter myself. I do recommend the game, mainly for the renovation options that I enjoy. But the game could use a lot of TLC in a lot of areas. It needs more options that are changeable, better moving customers, more options to click things for explanations and more options to change gameplay to your liking. Look at House Flipper, they did amazing with the tools, decoration options and graphics. This game desperately needs a dose of that. EDIT: I'm getting fed up with having to close the restaurant every time I want to make changes. And since I can't pause the game, I have to either pay my employees or fire all of them while editing. And you really have to close the restaurant for every single little freaking thing...

  Employees kept getting stuck and I had to keep restarting the day just to unstuck them, but they'd only walk through objects and get stuck again.

  Real good Developer wants more money just to open this door by locking it with a code they will give you after you paided to support them for $70.00 Euro dollars ( when it should be free as it is in game content not for money its a joke just like Dead by daylight money hungry leprechaun

  I played the prologue first to get a taster for the game I loved it so decided to buy the full game. i was really excited to find the the full game had so many more fun elements i can control. it's definitely more fun than other games i've played such as house flipper as this is more interactive and has more random events such as big foot and storms. One thing i would love to see improved is the customer's ability to sit at a table someone else is already sat at. so many wasted 4 seater table and chairs where they could come as a group opposed to a single customer. overall, i love it.
