  Amazing horde-survival game with unique mechanics such as shooting only when stationary, which adds a layer of strategy to the game. When I first saw gameplay of it, I thought it would be too difficult or boring compared to other horde-survival games, but I couldn't be more wrong. The various items and upgrades allow players to go with making different builds and strategies, combined with the different abilities of the characters. The possibilities are far more varied than at first glance: - Having the Pierce upgrades along with "Three is the Magic Number" item, which gives you a triple spread shot upgrade allows the player to mow down hordes as Serra. It even turns Ollin's exploding cactus balls into a triple spread too. - Bulletstorm, which creates orbiting projectiles can be combined with Nigel's inherent piercing allowing him to blend up enemies that get near. - A high area size combined with Hero Landing gives the player a huge splash damage move when they dash - Having a high crit rate can be used with NitroCrit to cause an explosion on every enemy you crit, dealing splash damage to enemies nearby. - The Onion seems weak at first glance, but put some Critical chance, Critical Damage, Area Size and Cooldown upgrades and it starts killing things around you. Enemy types in the game are simple and precise: They either try to chase you down directly, do a charge attack, or shoot something at you, and the color scheme is varied enough to know what you're facing. The two bosses in the game have their own tricks and attack patterns you need to learn, but the neat part is that the enemies that appear before said bosses give the player a taste and feel of what they can do, such as the dynamite-throwing moles before Crazy Denzel teaching the player how to avoid AoE explosions, which the boss uses heavily. Graphics are amazing for the genre, with fluid player, enemy and boss animations that the devs clearly put their work into. The music is very catchy and gives the feel of an action-packed western. Finally, the 2-man dev team is very open and willing to listen to feedback. This is a huge plus for me and anyone with constructive criticism.

  Only played for about 30 mins so far but loving it. If your a fan of Vampire Survivors, 20 Minutes Till Dawn I would definitely suggest it. **note to the Dev's add a pack! (buy 4 at once, save 0.50 per copy, etc) 100% a game you buy for all your friends (who enjoy these kinds of games). 5 total copy's purchased 1 for me 4 as gifts... I would have bought 2 packs of 4 to drop on additional random friends ha** Hoping (because addicted to these types of games) they continue to add (additional characters, items, mobs, etc, etc)

  This game is WAY too early for Early Access, there are only 2 bosses and the mechanics are raw at best. I don't know who in their right mind would leave a positive reviews for a game this bare-boned. Lack of manual aiming does not work for this game in my opinion, especially with multiplayer; the auto-aim always shoots at the location where the enemy is currently residing, instead of projecting where he's going to be based on vector. Trying to kill an enemy that's chasing one of your multiplayer partners is near impossible. Even worse, it will ALWAYS shoot at the closest enemy instead of shooting to maximize damage(piercing or exploding, a line or group of enemies). This will most likely bug you the most the longer you play this game. The upgrades and chests are too random, sometimes it takes a few min to clear a boss, other times your projectiles will be chipping away at the boss' HP bar 1 pixel at a time for half an hour while you contemplate whether to keep going, or just kill yourself and pray to RNGesus for better rolls the next time.

  A pretty average experience. Pretty slow build up, without payoff. Overly balanced. Rounds end just as you're reaching a decent build. Very repetative music. Feels like a browser game. Having played many games in this genre, I can't really say this one does anything new, It's a rather slow and sluggish game compared to others in this genre. It will probably become better over time, but I had to stop playing. 3/10 Probably fun with friends.

  Bought the game to support the developers and maybe help contribute in the game's direction during early access, but I absolutely do not reccomend the game in its current EA state to anyone else. My problems are simple: 1) Both bosses currently in the game exploit the game's core "can't aim and can't shoot while moving" mechanic, rather than working around it. They feel like they were designed for a completely different game, with the first boss being unnecessarily chore-some, and the second boss being a piss in the park, both boring as hell, which is disappointing considering how okay the actual horde survival of the core game is. 2) The items in the game make the game WAY TOO RNG reliant. Like insanely so. You have pretty much only one item that can provide a consistent heal (since the only other one doesn't work during boss fights) and most items have a downside to "compensate" which is fun in theory, except when combined with the other upgrades. Spend your entire game going for crit chance whenever you see it? Bet you feel amazing when the only legendary upgrade you come across later is "You have 100% crit chance but deal 3 times less damage" so either you pick up an item that does nothing but downgrade you, some completely underpowered items that barely impact your power level, or just skip and miss out on an item completely. That's something I have not seen in a single other bullet heaven/Survivors game, and for good reason. There NEEDS, and I mean NEEDS to be a huge overhaul with the items, as currently you will be forced to devote to random upgrades when you level, that "determine" what build you're doing, while having atrocious items with unnecessary downgrades to make your upgrades gained completely pointless. I have high hopes for the game, and the core gameplay is fun, but the insanely slow meta-progression, absurdly out of place bosses, and huge pool of useless items means I cannot with a good heart advise people to invest in this game as it currently stands. I will change my review if any of the issues raised change, because I absolutely want to recommend this game, but not for this price, when you can buy "20 Minutes Till Dawn" for less, and with vastly superior gameplay and execution of its ideas, something this game really should learn from.
