  If there is a way to turn on smooth turning i can not find it, personally i can not deal with vr games that dont have it. for some people this might not be an issue but for me it is a deal breaker. if they ever patch it in the game let me know and i might buy it again.

  It feels absolutely incredible to finally experience Agony in VR. I never realised the scale of some of the statues and other objects, in the VR version of the game they are huge and imposing, towering over you and emanating a dreadful malice, instilling fear for what is yet to come. The game looks much better than I expected the VR version to be, in VR it is really immersive. As mentioned in an other review, you can only turn in small steps at a time, although for me personally it is not much of an issue. It is also much easier to navigate the maze-like corridors of the game in VR, I frequently got lost in the 2d version of the game. I've waited for the VR version of this game to become a thing ever since the original kickstarter campaign, and I'm so glad that it has finally happened. Thank you Madmind Studios for following through with your Kickstarter promise of creating Agony VR. Time to fall in love with Agony all over again!

  This could be a near perfect VR port of a fantastic game... runs great, few frame drops, graphics look great even at a lower res....

  BUT 3 THINGS ARE NEEDED!

  -smooth turning

  (why this wasnt included for the immersion factor is beyond me)

  -seated mode or height slider

  -graphical options beyond just a low setting

  Take care of these 3 things = perfect VR port.

  A chill and relaxing VR experience to soothe the soul and ease the mind. 11/10 Needs some graphic setting options. My 4080 can easily handle a higher resolution. Looks and runs great regardless.

  I tried playing this game on the Reverb G2 but none of the buttons work...switched over to the Meta Quest 2 and was able to play the game which is fine but...the devs should atleast be more transparent about which headsets are compatible because not everyone plays on the Quest 2...continuing on though...so I thought that atleast the game plays on the Quest 2....but there's no smooth turning...which I just don't understand why they couldn't implement such a basic feature into the game from the start...but hey,the game is playable atleast though right?In short?nope...now I come to find that there isn't even a crouch function...which I had to quit the game because in order to get past the first part of the game,you need to be able to crouch in order to proceed forward...the game does look great though so I hope the devs fix these issues...other then that I wouldn't recommend anyone to purchase the game in it's current state...but hey,that's just me...

  Wow, that's amazing! When I played the PC version, I was hoping that Agony would take place in virtual reality. All these sounds, environments and interactions now feel so realistic. That's what I wanted from Agony VR. Perfect!

  I thought I seen it all until I played Agony vr. I seen a lady feeding a baby that had the face of a 90 year old with stuff coming from her vagina. Higly recommend

  I don't understand why everyone is asking for smooth turning. People use that? You can turn smoothly with your neck. But it's standard option and should be present... The only options I can see in Settings are Language, and Graphics, for which "low" seems to be the only option. (Doesn't seem like a low graphics setting though; it looks amazing.) So more options would be good. Maybe one to adjust hands and controls... Like the angle... With Index controllers, holding a torch seems to be at a weird angle and I find myself turning it upside down to use it. And also constantly dropping things for no reason, which is especially annoying when that thing is a baby. So it would be nice to...make it work better, or just have an option to squeeze grip to toggle holding. Why not both? Can't go wrong with options. Also would be good to have clearer instructions... I had no idea what I suppose to when became a ghost... I saw the instructions to squeeze something near a person, but if it said anything about you having to take off people's masks (which I had no idea I could do until I Googled it) so that you can possess, I must have missed it, It looks spectacular. Warning: You will see people getting graped by demons, and you will sacrifice babies (this game really seems to hate babies), and see people dismembered and impaled and sorts of grisly horrific things. And yet it's pretty. Super-trippy. Not perfect as a VR port... But there isn't that much interaction anyway (I'm assuming in the flat version either), other than moving, and occasionally burning things and picking up and depositing babies. And yet I'm somehow ok with that. Surprisingly, it's very chill and low stress. It doesn't feel like survival horror... More like a scenic tour through hell.
