  I gained greater insight into my storage drive's actual performance watching Task Manager as I used steam's move game feature to move Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord to another drive to make room for this Benchmark's 30 GB available space requirement than the Benchmark itself provided. This benchmark just takes a hodgebodge 7 simulated loadings of a game, a utility or copying a game from an external drive. My drive sat idle for most of the time during the benchmark. I've always held 3D Mark in high regard, but after testing this pathetically horrible product it is making me question their other products. Use CrystalDiskMark if you want an actual Storage Benchmark, Try UNIGINE if you are questioning 3D Mark's other Benchmarks.

  R O F L O L. This has to be one of the biggest jokes of a so called "benchmark" that I've ever seen. To the person who reviewed this DLC and said that "people were discovering their SSD's weren't as fast as they hoped, and are taking it out on UL" Is frankly uninformed. I've been a PC tech for 30 years and worked with almost every make and model of Cpu, Gpu, hard drive, SSD and video card that are popular on the market. This test in NO WAY is accurate. a Samsung 970 Evo does not top out at 330 Mb/s, that's below even SATA SSD Speeds, Let alone a 1tb M.2 Nvme gen 3 SSD that easily rips along at 2900mb/s, The slowest i have observed this drive operate was 2gb/s. It gets worse though as this joke of a benchmark told me one of my MECHANICAL Bulk 8tb drives was faster than BOTH of my m.2 drives. This benchmark is Garbage. DO NOT waste your time or money on it. I did it to see if all the Negative reviews were right, and they WITHOUT A DOUBT are.

  Let us pick a desired storage device to be benchmarked. As it stands right now, You can only test your C drive. Completely waste of cash.

  The reviews claiming it cannot test more than the C drive are either out of date or user error. Clicking on the benchmark from the main menu brings you to its details page like all other tests. Here you have one option: drive selection. It is also far from useless as it aggregates the tedious process of finding a list of tasks to test from game loading times to file transfers to and from. Repeating this process 3 times as well for sanity checking. Can you figure this out on your own? Sure, but is saving $3 worth the time it takes to go through all that? Any real system tech that knows their time is worth something would just buy it and use it. Saves "loads" of time testing client PCs. If not this, then they are using some sort of in-house testing suite that does almost the exact same thing, but may weigh tests differently. Biggest example for a reason to get this is the mysterious question of whether or not to enable disk compression on your drives. Truth is hard to find because there's a lot of hearsay and debate with no testing to back any of it up. Did I find the answer? Yes. The answer is that it depends on the drive, interface, CPU, DRAM, and the fact some games and other files don't play nicely with compression disks. I found the answer for whether or not to compress each of my drives, as well as the drives of my clients. All I can say is if you care to know then buy this and find out yourself for your setup.

  Realy realy BAD Benchmark !!! 15 minutes and only completed first loop ??? No Thank you. Just stay with only benchmark for GPU and CPU.

  This genuinely does not offer great insight into storage performance. I must say I am surprised with 3DMark on this one. Very difficult to take the output and compare. In addition, outside of some text and minor graphics it does not do a great job of showing what the test is even doing.

  Terrible, DO NOT BUY! Use CrystalDiskMark or any other tool. I am usually a huge fan of 3DMark but this is straight up trash

  Just do not buy this. I have 8 drives / SSDs / NVMEs in my setup. It only tested the C drive and showed no option to test any other drive. There are free application that are so much better than this. The test itself is also crap. Just dont buy it at any price.
