FEATURES Video Consultations: Book an appointment with a Doctor, Counsellor or Dietitian and have a video consultation from the comfort of home or wherever works best for you. If needed, prescriptions and referrals for diagnostic tests/specialists can be provided. You can also get your prescription delivered directly through the app. Appointments will be scheduled in English by default unless you are in Quebec where appointments can be either in French or English. If you would like to schedule an appointment in a different language, contact our Support Team. Symptom Checker: Get more peace of mind 24/7 with our chat-style Symptom Checker, powered by Artificial Intelligence, which asks you questions about your symptoms to suggest possible courses of action. Healthcheck: Learn more about your health in just 15 minutes. Our free digital assessment tool gives you a picture of your current health and suggests lifestyle changes for healthier living. Monitor: Use our mood tracker to log your emotions and identify things that can affect your mental health. Connect your existing health apps and set medication reminders to manage your health in one place. We retain patient records in accordance with national best practice guidelines and all patient data is securely transmitted using industry-recognized encryption methods. FAQ’s Where is TELUS Health MyCare available? Doctor consultations are available in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Saskatchewan, and Quebec. Residents in these provinces who are covered under provincial healthcare insurance (MSP, AHCIP, OHIP, or Saskatchewan Health) can have video-based consultations at no direct cost. Alternatively, patients without provincial health insurance in these provinces can have video-based consultations for a fee per consult. Counsellors and Dietitians are available in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario. What can our doctors treat? Like any doctor you’ve seen in the past, our doctors can help treat a wide variety of non-emergency health conditions. Common health concerns we see patients for include: Cold and flu, Urinary tract infections, Skin rashes, Joint pain, Anxiety and depression, Allergies, Sexual health advice and more. We may refer you to see a doctor in person if your concern requires physical examination or care.
