Welcome to York Quest, a place to discover new seasonal trails around York City Centre. Explore the City like never before, tracking down fun augmented reality characters at various locations as you go.

This app creates an exciting new method of enjoying special moments with family and friends in York, and an opportunity to share your experiences on social media.

Travel Through Time - Available Now

From Eboracum, to Jorvik, to York - Discover 2,000 years of the City’s history by exploring our York History Quest trail. Track down 8 augmented reality characters at historic locations in the City Centre by using the GPS-based map in this app, and learn more about the people and places that shaped our City through the centuries.

Freaky Fun Trail - Available from 17th October-13th November

There are lots of amazing experiences to discover in York this summer, with It’s officially spooky season in York and there’s something strange afoot! Join us on our terror-ific trail this Halloween and capture 7 fun and freaky augmented reality monsters, ghouls and other creepy characters at ghostly locations across the City Centre. Use the GPS enabled map in this app to discover each one, if you dare!
