  Disappointing - No blocks destruction, laggy as AI's don't get removed after being "Destroyed", AI's in helicopters are invincible. AI can see you through walls so just constant wall-lock / constant firing at a wall, needs updates before buying in my opinion.

  There is no way to sink a ship... you can blast a ship with the biggest gun, but it will never take any water. Fix that and I will love this DLC... You need to implemnt some kind of block destruction.

  So you are here. Great. Current Version 1.3.5 as time of review. Pro: - Weapons - Long wish from the Community - Very cheap, only around 8 Bucks for me - A good choice of weapons - More Weapons promised from the devs - More modding-tools for Modders (Custom Weapons?) Contra: - Very buggy, many fixes has been pushed but its still infested with bugs and bugs - Crashes. Yeah, nice i guess. Crashes while fighting. Crashes while spawing. Crashes while save/load. - AI randomly decides to not work anymore. Only fix for now? New Game. Currently feels more like a beta than a full fledged DLC. On the other hand its very cheap, many people thought about double the price so its not that terrible. And new stuff breaking Stormworks is also not new :p Conclusion: Nice DLC and thanks for listening to the Community. Dont stop, you still have some work to do. You are doing a great job. But please - fix the crashes.

  I REALLY WANT TO enjoy this DLC. But I can't. One simple reason: - It's too much. I'm not talking about price. I'm talking about game-play. Here's my personal pros and cons: PRO 1: The weapons themselves and the possibilities they bring are mind blowing. I have enjoyed going around in warships with guns that can actually do some damage. I haven't tried torpedos yet, but if they are just as good, the CONTENT the DLC brings is a good starting point. PRO 2: The whole idea of world domination against AI is relatively sound. And, despite this game's Coastguard roots that sometimes lead to you needing to rescue a hiker from an AI controlled island, there is still plenty to do even if you want to stick to the Search and Rescue side of things. CON 1: Unless you have a TREMENDOUSLY good computer, this latest update will kill the game. Yes, it is optional to enable it when you start a new world but that shouldn't be the point. A lot of the bona fide SW players will know that this game's record when it comes to optimisation is shady at best, but I found myself on a rig that is above the recommended requirements, switching my physics to low, render distance to short and overall graphics settings away from the maximum I am used to playing in. CON 2: You are thrust into too much and the DLC as a whole feels largely multiplayer-based if you want to be majorly successful at anything. Multiplayer which, for the reason stated above, is widely pointless and otherwise infuriating to tackle. CON 3: It should be an option to CHOOSE which AI we are up against. As it stands, you have to face the Navy, Air force, Coastal Patrol AND Army if you want to get anywhere near an island to capture it. - The Navy; hard hitting and actually relatively fun to tackle. Strategy is a good idea. - Coastal Patrol; fast annoying ships that are easy to take down, but require moderate skill to aim at. - The Army; overpowered motorised versions of Dr. Eggmann wielding his favourite miniguns. - The Air Force; the most annoying feature of the game. A great idea sure, but impossible to hit and do more damage than the other 3 combined. CON 4: Linking to the Air Force section, this part of the AI insurgents follows you endlessly across the map, is blessed with infinite ammunition and, unless you are a master at leading a target, are near impossible to kill. This leads me into my final point. We need to be able to choose which AI spawn. A preference so we arent fighting 4 different sub-types at once and, in most cases, make it so we can get to within 5km of a target island without endless jets and helicopters showing up (for example). If you just want to fight warships, bad luck. You probably will never see one because your ship will be sunk by jets etc. well before it spawns. CON 5: The game just sin't designed for precision warfare like leading air targets or fine-tuning your aim. Using a keyboard is clunk as can be and with the art style of the game, reading most reticules or interactive screens is still just as difficult as before. I can see the appeal. And I was genuinely looking forward to the DLC when it was announced. I was very excited when it came out and I saw what it offered. But it has killed the game for me. Because a lot of existing problems simply haven't been fixed and, this DLC adds in so much at once that it, on many occasions, pushes the game's limit too far. If there was a way to pick and choose which AI spawned in a future update, then maybe I would revisit this opinion. As it stands however, I simply cannot find it enjoyable. An honest opinion...

  This DLC makes the game 10x better. also a update came out shortly after release that allows you to select the max AI for low-end pc's, max planes, heli's, AI Production time, and the weapons! They are great and are so fun to play around with and use. also idk what some of these reviews are talking about, it works fine in multiplayer mostly and its also fun in single player. Overall i think this DLC was so worth it.
