  My first impressions: -The building system is like Surviving Mars but you place the walls, staircases, doors. You can make one big building with multiple stories or a bunch of smaller buildings. -Trading system is similar to Port Royale with orbits instead of distance. -Diplomacy system similar to XCOM, you depend on it entirely. -If you play this with the lowest graphic settings, it doesn't necessarily look bad, it just becomes pixelized and it looks a bit like the old school master of orion. This is the first time i see a game that becomes "vintage" when on the lowest settings. This was just released as early access and is very much unfinished, everything I mentioned is clunky and unpolished, so I will adjust my review according to future updates. But the things that are offered by this game would be uniquely awesome so the 15$ is completely worth the gamble for me.

  Hopefully they do not abandon this game, it's unfinished and clunky like looking around can be a pain, But still with that i have been really enjoying the so far.

  The Game has huge potential. You can build colonies and space stations all over the solar system. Different strategies are possible. The developer listens to players and actively encourages feedback. Solargene is still in early development and has some bugs but frequent updates constantly improve the game. A better tutorial might help players to climb the first challenges.

  Great base but needs more work, - HOTKEYS - Allow ENTER to be used for confriming and action - Reduce build menu clutter - Allow built sections of structure to be able to change type - Upgrade path for servers rather than deleting one by one and replacing them - Having a hiring window allowing a choice to workers hired rather than RNG - Allow more than one worker to be moved from station to station with a window to select workers - Show power use and generation stats on the production tab This is a awesome start I hope this game sees its way to 1.0 as is enjoyable and playable in it current state and with some love only get better

  Wow Im hooked, great price lets start there, for the content you do get, and keep in mind this is EA, 16 bucks or so is well worth it and you get to support the dev too. I honestly get the feel this guy is in it till its done. Now building, it DOES need a better tutorial because it can be confusing, but people have made vids about what to do so i can cut the dev some slack. But building, now it easy to do, looks great and you have alot of choices that i know all of us colony builders just love! There are menus all over the screen but you can minimise them, so i dont know why some of these reviews complain about that. Clunky, maybe but still very playable. Its clear this game is a labor of love and im excited to see it progress. Things maybe that would be cool to have? SHuttles that are govt specific, better explanation(man you got something really good here, share with us how to use it now!), and thats about it so far for me. As i always say, buy it and try it, because theres always a refund. But i doubt youll do that i think the majority of you will enjoy this title as i am.

  For a single dev alpha release it is certainly playable and enjoyable. That said you should be aware of a few things: 1) The UI is a bit awful and will need some serious improvement as it is currently not very intuitive and is difficult to navigate 2) Build system is a bit awkward and can be a bit painful 3) Resource requirements are hard to estimate 4) Colonist management is not trivial So while the alpha is fun and if you bear with the hard edges its an interesting experience but do keep in mind that it is very early and definitely still WIP.

  This Game has great Potential, unfortunately Its not yet Ready, in the 10 hours of playing it I have spent more time restarting it and loading my save after it has crashed, and whats worse there is no save button, so when it crashes you often find your self having to redo a lot of the thing you have been building, the only way to save the game (aside from the Autosave) is to exit to the main menu and the reloading your save. So put it on your Wish list and try it in a few months, hopefully the Dev's will have had the oppertunity to Iron out the kinks by then

  Micromanagement in this game is just disgusting (Mostly due to controls) + It's not making sense if the game has no realism in it. Why even bother with supply ships if there is no travel time? The ships arrive in an hour, You can receive at least 12 of them at a time, so they aren't a bottleneck as well, what are they, exactly? There are barely any lifesupport system to take care of before dropping your colonists, yet, somehow there are 5 or 6 types of kitchens, 1 for each cuisine (Russian, American, European etc.). Why? Just make three types of food - poor, normal, luxury. You have android robots from the start of the game that can cook and farm, but you do not have one for mining. Colonists have to go outside and sit there mining rocks, while cook robot is chilling inside. I'm not stopping to play this game because of it hilariously bad interface and controls, not because of lack of automation, interesting assets (or lack of crucial assets that should be in the game such as construction bots), choice overload (Yes, I do not have to have 20 types of walls, 6 types of doors I only need a couple of both) unnecessary complexity and micro. I am stopping because I just can not find any consistency in the lore of this game, It just does not make sense. I can't believe I was thinking Surviving Mars was unrealistic, this game is much less realistic than that.

  Really awesome game. For a fresh early access the assets and graphics are really great. There is room to grow though. the user interface is really, really bad. it's playable, but a constant irritation and is overhauled soon, given how deep the content seems to be. I can't wait to watch for updates!

  The concept of the game is awesome but it really should not have been released yet.. The game has great potential but the crafting and camera angles are awful. The game crashes a lot and it there is no save button so i find myself having to start over
