  Sensitivity for Index controllers was just awful. Can't even press the action button reliably because they linked it to the touch grip. However, they give you a hot girlfriend at the start of the game, so I can't hate it.

  The game is broken in PC mode when trying to get past the checkpoint inside the barn. Nothing happens. Found a video on youtube from 4 years ago and it shows an action happen after the barn checkpoint. As of today, its stuck. Nothing happens. You're stuck in the barn listening to loud crappy rock music. Please fix this. Also, in PC mode, all of the NPCs have a transparent circle that says "eyes" and an R and an L on either side of the circle.

  This game is absolutely amazing. Not because it had good gameplay but the halloween vibe is awesome. I think the developers deserve respect. I love halloween and everything related to it. I hope there will be some more updates to improve some bugs, but even if not it's still playable. Thanky <33

  This game is very strange. It feels like a bunch of assets were crammed into a game but not necessarily making the game bad. Feels like maybe it's a very inexperienced and small development team BUT it's pretty great. It's really got the spirit of Halloween and all sorts of cute little details and sounds. Kinda like going to your local haunted house on Halloween and enjoying this atmosphere, except in vr and you can shoot stuff.

  Had a blast playing this in VR. They did a great job. So many fun Halloween aspects, if I had to critique my only complaints are the voice over with the lady is so horrible and a couple others. Maybe replace her talking with spooky sounds or find someone whose voice isn't so annoying. Also I kept dropping my dang guns and other items. Oh and it would be awesome if run fast was some other button, it's the worst to push the stick. Otherwise super fun.

  The graphics are beautifully rendered and there's lots to explore with a number of scenarios to survive on Halloween night. A lot of hard work, thought and love has gone into this. The voice acting (sorry devs) is right up there with some of the worst ever and personally I think it's far more interesting to entertain your own thoughts in fear, rather than listen to a bad voice-over telling you, you are too drunk for this or asking are my eyes playing tricks on me, especially when it sounds cheesy? But there's a good mix between the ghoulish to overtly grim. And I swear the chick at the beginning is straight out of Deadly Cryptids, how did she end up here? And the cash register noises after knock on a door? Am I making money? It's interesting and a little confusing. I'm going back for more...

  this game graphics was shaking on my system may be because i am using GTX 980, i got motion sickness easily plus there is no option to rotate, some people like me prefer it. it is still in EA status therefore i do not complain just pointing some issues ! a Great Game though & Great idea therefore i will never ask for a refund!

  [h1]Experienced on the Oculus Quest 2 and Oculus Rift[/h1] You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/VJHKhczB-Z0 The best way I can describe Sinister Halloween is that it is a B-movie horror cinematic movie translated to VR. It is buggy, janky, has terrible VOs, stiff animations, basic VR interactions lacking polish, poor combat, but it has a ton of scares and is just plain campy horror fun. You basically walk from point A to point B while a bunch of scary stuff happens. The game, including the free DLC, took me approximately 2 hours to complete (although one of the DLC was bugged and I couldn't finish it - the walk in the wood at night). It's running on the Unreal Engine and on my RTX 3080 I was getting a steady 72 fps because I was mostly playing on the Oculus Quest 2 with the Oculus link cable. On the Oculus Rift, I was playing on a GTX 1060 and I was getting 40-45 fps. This game does have several loading screens though they are quite short. You have full locomotion and smooth and snap turning options, as well as teleportation. It is quite buggy though. One of the bugs was game-breaking which stopped me from progressing the chapter, but it was on the paid DLC Asylum (where all the doors were locked on the level, but one of them should have been unlocked). The other bug I experienced was also pretty serious, I couldn't use trigger or grip on my left hand controller as it was a showing as a closed-up fist. This stopped me from being able to use the shotgun at times or open doors with the left hand (I could still use my right to open doors). Luckily, this bug would be fixed with the next level loading screen or just randomly start working again. I had fun but I also like B movie cinematic horror. It has lots of jump scares. Several different looking areas to explore. Lots of monsters too. However, the combat is pretty terrible, the voice overs and sounds aren't the best. it's overall just very janky. So be warned, but also this is perfect for Halloween to share with family or friends, especially ones who aren't normally gamers! [b]Rate 6.66/10.
