  The game looks cool and you enjoy playing it for the first time as everything looks new to you. It makes you feel that you are going on an adventure. After few missions, it feels that game is being repetitive and you wonder what is the purpose of the game. I know fans would hate my comment but this is just my opinion.

  Monster Hunter Rise stands as the latest incarnation of my all-consuming obsession, a relentless descent into a self-imposed exile from the norms of society. With each monster I track and bring down, I plunge deeper into the abyss of my own detachment, the game serving as a sinister conduit for my escalating withdrawal from the world outside. The vibrant landscapes and meticulously crafted creatures are mere tools, expertly designed to ensnare my fractured mind and keep me bound in a cycle of craving and repulsion. Every hunt is a twisted ritual, a perverted dance with my own compulsions, as I forsake human connection for the sake of indulging in these digital bloodbaths. The disgust I feel, both for the grotesque nature of the game and for the grotesque creature I've become, intertwines in an unholy union, further entrenching my fractured psyche. Monster Hunter Rise is the embodiment of my tormented addiction, a cruel continuation of a line that traces my growing detachment from the world, leaving behind only the wreckage of a deranged soul consumed by its own perverse cravings. 7/10 Great game, Passable monster hunter title ;P

  Monster Hunter: Rise and Sunbreak are fantastic games. My first experience with Monster Hunter was with World, which I ended up falling head-over-heels for. Just an utterly enthralling experience that had me captured for nearly 400 hours. And I’m so happy to be able to say that not only does this game live up to its forebear, I’d argue it is better. That’s a matter of taste, though, and some people value different things. I love that Rise is pretty much solely about getting you into fights with incredibly well-designed monsters as quickly as possible. I love how much more fast-paced Rise is in comparison to World. I love how quickly we get to fight the monsters. I don’t miss tracking monsters. I don’t miss research. I like the smaller, more condensed maps. I miss Wildspire Wastes, but that’s about it. The maps in Rise serve their purpose of ushering you into fighting the monsters, which is all I care about. I want to fight big friggin’ monsters, not play Where’s Waldo with monsters. If you are like me and just want to fight, then Rise is for you. It doesn’t bog you down with countless cutscenes. It doesn’t make you track anything. It doesn’t make the maps an absolute chore to navigate, like Ancient Forest was. Outside of how much faster paced the game is, the weapons have received an expanded moveset. And these new moves or even methods of playing them are such a welcome addition. They really add to the experience. As a hammer and bow main, I'm extremely pleased by the new additions. It's made fights more dynamic and interesting. While I loved MH: W, I did not love Iceborne as much as its base game. I still enjoyed it quite a lot, but the changes, especially with regards to adding the clutch claw, took a tight experience and made it less enjoyable. Whereas the clutch claw felt like a tedious thing I had to engage with much to my frustration, the wirebug is the absolute opposite. It is a joy to use. The freedom it gives and the possibilities it offers are a multitude. It’s fun and feels like the game was built around it and not haphazardly implemented over top of another game. Suffice to say, I love the wirebug and I’ll be sad if we don’t have something like it in future games. Quite a few people hate the wirebug and how much faster-paced Rise/SB are compared to previous games. And if you’ve played those other games, you’ll know what you like and whether or not these are things you’ll be good with. Maybe you’ll still enjoy it. Maybe it will be one of your least favorite MH games, but still fun because, y’know, it’s more Monster Hunter. I think it is a superb game. And a great game to play for anyone that likes really well made character action games. There are only a scarce few games that are of the same caliber as the Monster Hunter games in terms of action. And Rise is my favorite Monster Hunter yet.

  I want to like this game, and in fact I find the combat fun and engaging. However, playing a 2022/2023 game on PC that has graphics akin to Ps1 is a tough pill to swallow, particularly after being exposed to Monster Hunter's World's beautifully crafted environments. Besides the Combat, which was fun and engaging, the game did not leave me yearning to play. Yes I realize I only have 6 hours in the game, but within those 6 hours I couldn't get past the small maps and piss-poor graphics. If you're a Monster Hunter fan, you'll enjoy this game. If you are a hardcore monster hunter hyper-critical nutcase, this game is going to be too arcade-y for you as combat is the fastest and easiest of the series. I honestly cannot recommend this game unless you're playing from a switch. This shouldn't have been released to PC unless a HD/Graphics overhaul was accompanying the launch. Just my opinion, take it or leave it.

  here's one important things before u start playing always make a backup everytime u done playing, just in case ur save is gone go to: Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\1077671946 then make a copy 1446780 folder somewhere save if ur save gone here's the way u fix it 1 - Delete 1446780 folder from Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\1077671946 2 - Copy and paste ur backup 1446780 folder to Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\1077671946 3 - Then go verify ur MHrise 4 - Restart ur device 5 - Done
