Jurassic World Evolution 2: Camp Cretaceous Dinosaur Pack विशेषताएं

Showcase an array of outstanding new prehistoric species with the Jurassic World Evolution 2: Camp Cretaceous Dinosaur Pack. Inspired by Universal Pictures, Amblin Entertainment and DreamWorks Animation’s hit Netflix show, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, this DLC features two entirely new dinosaurs, two new variants for existing species, and eight eye-catching skins that players can use to bring their parks to life.

SCORPIOS REX

One of Dr. Henry Wu’s first hybrid creations, the Scorpios Rex is a truly fearsome carnivore. Blood-red eyes, charcoal-black scales, prominent spikes, and jagged, uneven teeth characterise this impressive species. Known for its aggressive nature, it was originally deemed unfit for display…until now.

MONOLOPHOSAURUS

Named for the single crest adorning its skull, the Monolophosaurus is a medium-sized carnivore from the mid-Jurassic period. Its distinguished crest helps intensify roars and aids communication between Monolophosauruses.

OURANOSAURUS  (Variant)

The Ouranosaurus is a peaceful herbivore that lives in large herds. Keeping a single Ouranosaurus is not advised, as lone individuals have been known to break out of their enclosures and panic guests. The Ouranosaurus has a broad snout and tall spines on its back supporting a camel-like hump.

KENTROSAURUS  (Variant)

Despite being covered in lethal-looking spikes, the Kentrosaurus is actually a docile herbivore that uses its beak to bite off plant material. One of the smallest species of stegosaur, the Kentrosaurus defends itself when threatened using long spikes on each shoulder and smaller spikes protruding from its hips and tail.

8 NEW DINOSAUR SKINS

Bring the Baryonyx trio Grim, Limbo and Chaos, plus Toro the Carnotaurus, Bumpy the Ankylosaurus, and Big Eatie the Tyrannosaurus Rex to life in your parks, and entrance your guests with two glow-in-the-dark skins inspired by the Parasaurolophus Lux.

·         1 Ankylosaurus skin - Bumpy

·         3 Baryonyx skins - Grim, Limbo, Chaos

·         1 Carnotaurus skin - Toro

·         2 Parasaurolophus Lux skins - Lux 1 (glow in the dark), Lux 2 (glow in the dark)

·         1 Tyrannosaurus rex skin - Big Eatie

It's a skin pack with a new couple new dinos. It's for enthusiasts like myself, who gladly will support devs for good games by shelling out money for something, that is entirely optional and is not needed at all to have fun in the base game. At 10 euros i rate it reasonably priced, although I have the money to spare, so your mileage may vary. If your budget's tight, wait for sale. And on to a note that the DLC broke peoples sandbox games, and the reason i actually review the DLC. Sorry but everyone complaining it broke their save files is too dumb to read the patch notes. It's not the DLC, it's the patch which causes it, because in sandbox, you now have research (finally a reason to play sandbox...). But you can turn it off. Research, expeditions and extraction, and scientists. If you turn them off in sandbox settings, you get your stuff back. I didn't test it on an old sandbox park since I didn't bother with sandbox before (what's the fun if you already have everything at your disposal?), but I tried with my newly created sandbox. Turned those settings off and tadaa, i have all my unlocks. It's not rocket science, seriously, all you needed to do was read the patch notes.

As usual for this franchise, this DLC is just more dinos and skins for existing dinos. No new content so only buy if you really like the game or the dinos in this pack. As with any aesthetic DLC i recommend waiting for a sale unless you have the money and want it now like i did.

I like it. At first I was a little skeptical considering that it was 10$ for two new dinos. However, the new skins are enough to make it worth the 10$ if you're a big JWE fan and the new skins for the Ouranosaurus and Kentrosaurus are different enough that I would consider them to be essentially new dinos. If you're not a super into JWE i'd wait for a sale but if you are then this is well worth its price.

I never expected too much from a DLC based on Camp Cretaceous. Obviously, the Monolophosaurus and Scorpios rex at the very least were going to be brought in. The inclusion of the Spinoceratops and Smilodon were a bit up in the air, but ultimately it seems they have been excluded because we don't have an adult version of the former hybrid and the latter is a Cenozoic mammal that simply doesn't fit given the lack of other prehistoric animals from the same era. Regarding the skins, they're perfectly fine. Don't know if I'm going to use too many of them. That said, the new creatures and skins are translated very nicely from their cartoonish versions to the game. I do like that we now have Monolophosaurus in the game as a new real dinosaur. It was always a unique creature and I felt it would be remiss not to include it in Evolution 2 at some point regardless of its canon or franchise status. The Scorpios rex, while I'm not big on hybrids, is at least translated very well from the cartoon world to the 3D game world and really captures the aesthetic of being even more of a prototype hybrid than the Indominus rex or the Indoraptor. Even its database entry states that this thing should probably just be put out of its misery because its an unpredictable and unstable monster of an animal. At any rate, this DLC is perfectly acceptable and well paired with the massive and much-needed major update 2 to the base game. The price point of $10 is a little questionable given this is mostly a skin pack, but given the amount of content the major update had, I'd say it's a minor nitpick at best. I'm just glad the Monolophosaurus is now in the game and the worries about Camp Cretaceous content being included in Evolution 2 can be put to rest. And now we wait to see what Frontier will do when Jurassic World Dominion releases.

The skins are great and the Scorpios is probably one of the most unique dinosaurs in the game, but it's not worth it's price. The parasaurs and the kentro are great additions, but the rest isn't very noteworthy. Mono is too similar to proceratosaurus (though i do consider mono to be better). The great things in this DLC aren't carrying it enough to justify the price.

The second DLC released for Jurassic World Evolution 2, this time a tie-in with Jurassic Worlds' Netflix show "Camp Cretaceous" It comes with only 2 new actual Dinosaur species and 2 variants for existing species. Something to note though, over time with game updates, this pack has definitely increased in overall quality due to the variant Dinosaurs recieving the full skin system in update 5. Monolophosaurus comes with 1 show accurate skin and a wonderful wheel of others. This small Jurassic Theropod does suffer from the more cartoony show design, but it's not too horrible. Scorpios Rex, this infamous Hybrid comes with 2 show accurate skins and a wonderful array of unique show accurate animations. The 2015 Kentrosaurus variant "Pierce" is much bigger than the base Kentrosaurus, resulting in some fun interactions between the 2 iterations. Alongside the update 5 skins, the 2015 Kentro also comes with the "Pierce" skin, based on the character from the show. The 2015 Ouranosaurus variant in comparison to the Kentrosaur, is much smaller than the base game Ouranosaurus, Coming with a show accurate 2015 skin. This small Ornithopod looks widly different from its humped default counterpart, sporting a dented sail and a short lumpy tail that leaves the rear end of this variant much to be desired. Now we get to the skins of the pack, of which there are 8; Bumpy, the shows' star Ankylosaur character, featuring her iconic bump and light blue shell. Though she has been brought over nearly 1-1, Bumpy is horrifically oversized, nearly being double in size. Toro the Carnotaurus comes with a new selection of show accurate sounds, asymmetric horns, and a bulkier head. The Baryonyx Trio have also been brought over from the show, Chaos, Grim and Limbo all look fantastic. They sadly do lack the echoing calls they make in the show though, which is weird considering some of the other skins did get their show sounds. Big Eatie The Tyrannosaurus Rex is an odd pick, considering her daughter "Little Eatie" is missing from this DLC. At the end of the day it's a blueish grey striped Tyrannosaur, a nice skin sure, but hampered by the exclusion of her offspring. Parasaurolophus Lux glows in the dark and has 2 skins to choose from; a pink glow and a blue glow. These beautiful Hadrosaurs will look stunning at night. In conclusion: This pack brings a lot of content for its asking price, though depending on your opinion of the show, it may mean little. I personally think the show is just fine, and so is the pack, having some nice creature picks/skins around the board. One of the major negatives however is missing show content, as this DLC was made when the show was in its 4th season. This will most likely be addressed by a secondary Camp Cretaceous DLC, which will hopefully bring all the missing content with it. 7/10
