  this game is a fun swarm like twinstick shooter style game, not a whole lot of content maybe about 6 hours, it has some good potential with updates, like extra maps, more bosses, weapons , etc, i highly recommend the game , currently no English language support, but tbh i used google translate, to see which upgrades did what after you know what they do you are pretty good, there isn't much to decipher , with the second tab clearly being different primary/secondary weapons, and the third tab being boss tracker, I honestly can't wait to see this game as it updates more and more

  Great game, very fast and addictive despite the lack of variety of enemies. It has a lot of potential. Hope english is supported soon.

  Pretty fun game, but can get repetitive really fast. Haven't seen any insect lords and have no idea how the mech plays. Hope they improve the game with the 1.0 release and make the farming more enjoyable, maybe put more events into the game and a more diverse enemy roster.

  I want to be able to recommend Insect Swarm, it's genuinely fun and has an addictive quality to it's gameplay loop. Problem is, it crashes WAY too frequently and clearly has some stability issues. Every other run is wasted as the game crashes and you loose all your shards, being forced to start over. I let it slide the first few times because regathering the crystals isn't really a big deal, but after the 6th crash in under 30 minutes, it's basically padding the grind by 2x. I will definitely recommend Insect Swarm if the developers can stabilize the game a little more and correct the constant crashes.

  It's good old fun, the dust, insect, damage effects are fabulous. Content is a little light ATM however this is a great base & I can't wait to see where we go from here

  A couple hours in, this game sank its hooks into me. It delivers on the promise of alien insect swarms, and performs well on my unremarkable PC when vast numbers of them are on screen. Whittling down these ravenous hordes while circle-strafing around them in a terrain-hugging gunship, occasionally blasting quite a number of them to bits with rockets, feels great. And while I was initially worried that the primary way of accumulating the game's currency to buy upgrades would continue to be harvesting crystal formations scattered around the map, it soon became clear that hunting the larger enemies, like the guardians who are boss battles in their own right, is the way to progress once a certain level of firepower has been attained. With the right upgrades, these crystal formations are more like repair kits to "grab" by shooting them in the heat of battle. Taking on the game's true boss fights, the swarm lords, is the objective. And here is where I really appreciate the thought that went into the design. Rather than simply shooting bugs until the boss appears, I'm working to upgrade my cargo capacity and collect enough crystals to buy intel on the next swarm lord's location. So there is a clear goal each time my gunshiip leaves the home base. Because, "I only need to know one thing... where they are." The swarm lords can be quite some distance away, so don't skimp on the speed upgrades. Mercifully, the home base can be warped back to, rather than having to traverse long distances to go buy further upgrades and boss locations with a valuable haul of crystals earned by taking out strong enemies. It takes a moment for the warp to activate, so there's a little tension there if the gunship has been beat up a little and a swarm is descending. Adding to the sense of relief of pulling into the garage back at HQ. The ability, unlocked after taking down the first swarm lord, to transform into a towering mech, is a nice tough. Forcing the larger enemies to pick on something closer to their own size, in exchange for a slow drain on stored crystals. Offerng a fun way to put this currency to use later in the game. If there's one knock against the progression system that I can think of, it appears that some upgrades, based on the description, could be a form of self-sabotage if chosen by the player. Only a couple, and it's quite possible that their bonuses can be deactivated, or the levels put into them reclaimed. But not seeing any outward indications that this is possible, I've simply avoided these perks. That has't held me back any, and I'm on track to eliminate to swarm lords, then take on the new content added by the developer since the start of Early Access. Verdict - Eight Tyranid bio-titans out of ten. Would blast my way right through the Heart of the Swarm, and mix metaphors, again.
