  TarCod, the bots are basically hackers (will shoot you through things you can't see them through) but you'll learn how to get faster reactions after a few rounds; unless you're really slow it's a great game to get faster reflexes. Not for people with anger problems or high blood pressure.

  I played Contract Wars since 2014/2015, and while not perfect, it was more fun than what we have here now on steam. It's almost comical how things can be so similar yet feel overall so different. I bought this game back when it cost money to buy, even though the browser version was F2P (albeit a bit P2W). It just feels like a soulless husk of what once was. I have no interest in playing Escape from Tarkov and the 'CW Client' that allowed playing a non-browser version of the original C.W. , triggered an AV positive in two of the DLLs that were installed in the program files root folder. Everything that's happened in the history of HO, EFT, and CW together is enough for me to just say to myself: It's time to step back, wash my hands of it all and be on my way. I don't recommend this to anyone looking for their next PvP shooter. There's other games that are better supported and more fun.

  Good casual shooter, from the same company(a little complicated) as Tarkov. If you've played Contract Wars in the past, it's the same team and essentially the same game just updated. Basically Tarkov but COD style. Good graphics, gunplay, weapon selection and mods. The only main gripe I have is limiting weapons and mods to "mastery", you can't use specific weapons you want until you grind out random garbage weapons you don't even want to use, even from classes you never play just to level up "weapon mastery". It's a dumb system.

  Has AI Bots that are "disguised" as normal players (they have normal looking names and profile icons) but they sure aren't real players. They go from aimlessly wandering around the map to insta-killing you from across map. They're really just not fun to play with or against. If you can somehow look past that issue, the game is more or less your average F2P "Call of Duty" knock-off with some added gimmicks. Most of said gimmicks are really rather dull, and I think the game would've actually been better without them. The only things Hired Ops does that is remotely interesting is the Contract system (but the cooldown to get new ones takes too long...) and the Clan system, but since the gameplay itself suffers from being bland and having stupid "disguised" AI, it means nothing. Hired Ops is at most a "meh" experience. There are better things to play...

  I love this game! It does have its cons, currently player voting system and lag are my biggest turnoffs. I love the sounds and gunplay! Doesn't have many players yet, but it'll get there!

  Just like good ole' Contract Wars, and fits into the lore of Escape From Tarkov. It's optimized enough, has a good skill progression system, fair enough XP leveling, ect. The only big downside to it is the playerbase is pretty much dead. I could only find one RU server, half full, with 150+ ping in the middle of the day.

  Hired ops, in and of itself is a good game, and people should be playing it, but a combination of bad optimisation and no real marketing campaign has driven players off. If you play this game, chances are you won't find a server with good ping on your first go (you can go with the russian ones but they have worse servers than na). What is really sad is how the community is treating the game. They are just mass review bombing it for having a very low player count and I think that isn't right because it only further hinders the game from growing.
