You have a band of three members who are in a wheel of rotation fending off against waves of fans. Each bad fan decreases a band members life while each fan increases it. Good fans come at a price though since it will make the others band members jealous. Add in abilities and status effects that have their own ins and outs to learn and this makes for a pretty complicated defense type game. Once you get the hang of it though; it becomes a pretty cool "just one more run" type game. The cool characters and drawings are what immediately drew my attention towards this title. There's a wide variety of enemies and characters in the game and they all look fantastic. You can unlock more stuff through multiple plays with an in game currency but you will have to master the mechanics to be able to progress through the game and unlock characters. The soundtrack is fun and isn't some over the top rock soundtrack which I thought it was which is nice. Even though I enjoy rock music with the tone and speed of this game I imagine it would get really old really fast. [h1]The Minor Gripes[/h1] Be prepared for a difficult ride. There's tips for new players and a tutorial but this is still something you really have to learn the mechanics of and effectively use to make any progress. There look to be only a handful of areas with two stages and a boss each but they will give you a run for your money and throw you back to the start once you mismanage and lose one band mate. I enjoy trying over and over because I'm learning the mechanics; but it would be cool to have a somewhat easier mode with post boss checkpoints or something just to experience the whole game. Aside from that the only other gripe I've really got with this one is that it would be nice to have an encyclopedia of sorts explaining all the ins and outs of enemies and mechanics. There is a tip section that gives you a short blurb about effects and items when you run into them for the first time that you can access but some greater detail of enemies, items, events, characters, and bosses can really help out players who are stuck. I didn't know that a fan was good even though it was causing a bad status because he was attractive until quite a number of runs when I finally saw that particular character made the other band mates jealous. The gameplay mechanics feel like they are tapping into a genre not often touched. That may also be because I tend to stay away from tactics games. In the end this still felt new to me. There is a real challenge involved but it's satisfying to overcome.   Deceptively simple but has a surprising amount of depth. Art and music are also amazing, for a price this low it's a free grab.

  Cool simple game. Gameplay is not as easy as you think, you get only 3 lives to get as far as you can, and every time one of your band members "die" you have to start the stage over, game also requires fast reaction and strategic thinking since everything happens in real time. Art is nice and tasteful, performance is as good as it gets, translation is ok.
