  This is a fantastic little game that more than justifies its price of entry. This is one of the few first Vampire Survivors-like that is actually interesting enough to justify its existence. I definitely feel like I've gotten my money's worth my four hours of playtime at the time of writing this, and I plan to keep going to try and unlock all the achievements. +Fantastic pixel art +Amusing writing +Bop-worthy music +Good amount of content for the price (though I'm excited to have more content added during EA) +Upgrades for classes, your character in general, enemies and arena customization +Fun little card-based minigame, which seems to be a staple of Caisyware's games -As with most games of this type, it gets hard to process what's going on later in a round as the screen fills up with minions and enemies -The boss fights are pretty uninteresting. They aren't challenging enough and have very basic attack patterns Kemo's Corner.

  Wow. When you least realize it you've already poured a few hours into this! Vampire Survivors has really spawned a genre of its own with this whole arena rogue-like become-the-bullet-hell genre that also includes choices upon levelling up (gacha-style). A lot have popped on Steam, most Early Access and this one is no exception. However, for an Early Access it already feels quite full and complete. My only hope is that they won't over-complicate it as updates begin to roll in since so far the mechanics are easy to grasp, the minions are all cool and fun to use and you don't need to be a min/max math guru to have fun. I simply had a blast from the go and it wasn't as frustrating as others I've seen around. It helps it's all done very humorously, with Shakespearean English with a high dose of memetic value, full of tongue in cheek comments. The graphics are also the right amount of chunky 2D pixel action with a good set of tunes to boot and, thankfully, it should easily run on most configs. I played it using the Xbox One pad and it goes without saying it was the best experience since you don't have to aim or anything and instead control an army of undead minions as your main means of offense. Level your precious ones up until they reach their full potential and crush those disgusting humans trying to ruin your undead party with sombreros divertidos. (I do hope they add some Día de los Muertos/Día de Todos los Santos themed minions and enemies, that would be neat.) Whatever future updates bring, I hope it certainly goes to do its own flavor of this now shiny and surprisingly engaging genre. Either way, go get it now. For that price it's just hard to say no.

  This game is great. I like the theme, and it's pretty fun. Progression is quick, but not free. Avoiding the enemies feels pretty good and there is good variation in the bullet-hell so it doesn't get too samey. You feel like you're learning patterns without really ever _trying_ to learn the patterns, which is nice. I have only 1 gripe with this game, and in all honesty it is the sort of gripe that could be resolved by someone telling me it is intentional, and it's also the sort of gripe that affects only a tiny portion of the population, and that -- verily -- is how this game doth use Edwardian English. Indeed, thou must consider, if thou doth have any familiarity with speech of this kind and nature, then mayest thou take ample caution, for this game is not -- as it is said -- great at using this kind of language correctly. Verily, I say to you, if thou doth know this speech well, wither thy familiarity cometh from appreciation or distaste, from love or hate, thou shalt find here a mixture of misuses and miseries of grammatical nature. Misuse of suffixes, placing '-eth' on the end of random words; a dark sin. Misuse of 'thee', 'thy', and 'thou' -- familiar pronouns used in errant places grindeth the gears of my heart to toothless cogs and pulleys. Verily, reader, may thou taketh caution, for if thou art sensitive to this, the game's butchery (however appropriate, given its necromantic theme) of this style of speech is extensive. Otherwise it's dope and you should play it.

  Call it a Survivorlike, a reverse bullet-hell, roguelite auto-battler; this game is distinct from many other titles like Vampire Survivors, Nomad Survivors, etc. Through progression, you unlock new minion types and levels to said minions, relics that give you and/or allies buffs, to spells that you can activate to, say, summon a giant ball of flame to incinerate your enemies. There are even elements of base-building in that you can unlock items to replace a set grave with a stabby-spike, or an explosive totem. Honestly, for the price, this game already has a lot going on and new content comes out regularly. I sincerely recommend this to you, even if you just think it looks and sounds fucking groovy.

  Boneraiser Minions is a really awesome game, it builds from Vampire Survivors recent success and it truly carves out a new space for itself with plenty of new gameplay features and mechanics. The general gameplay is battling through a small arena taking out enemies and building up your army of minions, building up army is super fun, it gets really interesting trying to balance you ranged and near attackers as well as bringing in support minions. You also collect runes which can add more gameplay features to your default. This all allows you to clearly make a well defined unique build each run. Overall it all feels super rewarding to play through. Out of the actual matches you have meta progression, this is were you can upgrade your character and add new things to the game. You earn gold via playing and you use it to unlock a very big line of upgrades, gameplay modifiers and more. This part of the game was great, a little confusing because there was so many unlocks but it really added way more fun to the game. there is also upgrades unique to each character which adds further detail to the game. There is also tons of extras to see such as the endless mode, a mini card game, a collection of unlocks tracker and plenty more. The art is awesome, its a very retro spooky yet light hearted design, the pixel art all looks super solid. The colour choices are also great, has lots of Halloween themes and tones. The sound is good, retro like so its not crazy but it fits the game just fine and serves its purpose. The music however is oddly does not fit into the games theme at all. The music is pretty much generic up beat 8 bit music. its not bad but it just doesnt fit in fully, hopefully we can see some new tracks come in at a later date. As for performance, there is nothing to worry about. The game runs with out a single problem, i also did not get any bugs or crashes in my play time. Overall the game is off to a really good start, its got loads of content and value for the asking price and its super rewarding, the game can feel a little directionless and confusing due to some of the parts of the game not really being fully explained but it is things you will begin to understand after some playtime. Id highly recommend you check this game out!

  Bit like Vampire Survivors, but with undead minon army instead. Run around, collect Bones, avoid the enemy at all costs, once you have collected enough you can spawn (or improve) a solider to join your undead army. Loads of drops, game upgrades, and random stuff to find / collect. Makes for an interesting little game with a "just one more go" feel :)
