  Great little fun volleyball game. One of the only good ones out there. Great on low end PC's. I really would like an online co-op or online multiplayer. (A online tourney would be lots of fun)

  The one-time discovery queue comes up with a gem. Excited to see them continue to build the game up. Haikyu is the only reason I decided to get try the demo, and I’m happy I did.

  Already a top 3 volleyball game. I've been following and had high expectations for this game and it's been great so far. The atmosphere of game is awesome which is a big deal breaker for me when I play volleyball games. From the sounds to the animations and the small details such as the up and line refs it all makes a difference. This game isn't too challenging to get the hang of, but if you haven't play a lot of volleyball games or don't know volleyball that well then I can see there being a decent learning curve for the controls. A few things I hope to see some time in the future is more focus on the clubs. I love the idea of building a volleyball team and building them up to win a championship in a league or a big tournament. That being said I hope to see league play for the clubs rather than just single elimination tournaments. And also a big thing for the clubs that I hope to see ( and I think it is because it's on the game but you can't click it yet) are stats for individual players because that's something small, but important for a season mode. (For me at least) Another thing I think would be a nice touch are time outs. I know for this game specifically they wouldn't be that important at the moment, but I think if we could get one time a game to use and then it can be a way to sub out one player or something along those lines. A final small touch I hope to see some time are unique player looks in the club mode. No matter who I put into my lineup for club mode, my setter, middle, outside, and middle back always are the same model. It's just something small that is just there but not a deal breaker for the game. But overall this game has the most potential and possibilities for a volleyball game at the moment. I am in full support of the devs and I'm excited for the future of Spikair.

  First of all, if you are searching for a volleyball simulation, you may found it now. For me it is the best simulation for volleyball so far. I tried other games too, but they didn't fit for what I was looking for. The focus here is definitely on timing. Bad timing in receiving leads to a bad setting position which decreases your chances for a successfull attack. So leads a bad timing at the block to a good scoring chance for your opponent. Since it's familiar I will now make a pro and con list. pro: - gameplay is pretty good so far - timing is already on a good level - it gives you a good feeling, when you smash the ball on the ground - it also gives you a good feeling, when your opponent saw through your attack tactic and safes the ball - blockouts are hilarious - a solid base is already available - some animations are pretty good - competitive against other ppl will be the absolute reason to get this game (so far splitscreen is the only playable option, parsec and steam remote play aren't working for me xD) con: - graphics could be better - if you attack, there should be a 4th option between blockout and center attack - in rl you also have the option to smash the ball towards the 9 meter line and defending is already implemented for this position - pipe is a bit weak currently - for now it misses customisations of the team and the player - content, this game needs more content :) The devs are currently working on this game and you can follow the development road on their discord. So the game is not abondon and it is for a good reason in early access. Keep that in mind. I guess it is up to the devs if the game could hit the ceiling like a nice blockout or if it's missing the track like a blockout shot without block. If you are still unsure about the game: search for a video on twitch which shows you the gameplay and current state of the game for 06.02.2023.

  TLDR What keeps this game together is the game play, but there is not enough content PROS: - The main game play loop is responsive and feels GREAT to play ( I have 5 hours of game play on the demo and it will probably go to 20 soon) - Sound FX are great - Visuals feel rewarding/addicting/smooth - When stats upgrade, the difference is not only felt, but visible CONS: - My club not enough options of players staying in the league, this feels like a volleyball college sim, you train players for 3 years and they are gone - My club, not enough stats = attributes and player stats such as spike % - Not enough customisation or created characters - Music is ...... What I would like to see: - The college type league needs to stay, it is a cool Idea, but I would also like to see a professional type of league where: = Trades are possible = Salary cap is present = Facility upgrades which can degrade over time so you have to keep upgrading them = Player traits are present = Player moods or team chemistry or even chemistry/events are occurring between certain players and you have to choose who to side with = Change of strategy is another idea such as the middle runs a slide instead of a 1 so that the timing changes or the option to toggle 2 blockers, but with the downside of tips being more difficult to get = Potentially moving teams is present since you feel more like a coach and less like a manager since there is just so little to do: Pick players - Play games - Players upgrade - Play more games - Season ends - Pick new/more players.

  Great potential. But this simple, pixel 2D based game will KILL your graphics card. My fans were working overtime on this simple volleyball game. Game play; you only can move / hit forward or backwards. Would be great to move/hit line or angle (up / down) as well. Lastly, a beach doubles version would be a GREAT addition.

  Has an incredible amount of potential and is already one of the best vb games i've ever played. It very much has that "The Spike" feel if you've ever played that but is more dynamic and hands on than the spike while also being more grounded in a sense. This early access is everything I wanted it to be and if you enjoyed playing The Spike you'll very likely enjoy this game just as much. Can't wait to see where the devs go moving forward, it's an amazing release so far.
