  dark souls but side scrolling with kid protagonist. *how could the first boss is the hardest boss?

  I've played the demo before, probably one of the best puzzle games I've played, love the element of surprise, story, bgm, art, etc.. love all of them. As I just bought the full version right before typing this review, I'll go and turn off the light, put on my headset, and prepare myself to scream like a little girl as I play this game

  Ni game tegang dan horrornya dapet. Susah-susah gampang sih, mesti bener2 konsentrasi dan merhatiin clue yg di kasih buat ngelewatin setiap stagenya, tapi seru! Nice! GoodJob!

  Despite some minor issues with the platforming that the developer is working to fix, this game is a hidden gem, and really deserves more attention. I really enjoyed the mix of the horror atmosphere with the cartoon style. Some of the enemies in the game were quite shocking, they managed to catch me off guard. I also appreciate the combination of the almost painted environments with the hand drawn style of the characters. It gives the game a wonderful, dream-like quality, almost like a twisted fairy tale. I wish there was more to the game, and I hadn't just finished it. I wanted to see more ghosts taken from different folklore. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. The ending really surprised me, and was much more interesting than I was expecting when I started this game. It was a fantastic twist on what I thought was going on with the story, and made for a wonderful climax.

  tolerated this for 36 minutes. every cutscene video is destroyed by bitrate, makes them look liek it's being viewed through a tennis racket. controls are stiff, and unresponsive. every single time you die, or start a level and your character automatically interacts with something ( which is weird, since there's literally an interact button ) you can't skip it. It happens every single time, so when he looks at a photo - every single time you pass by here again if you die, he does it again. fun. the jumping works when it feels liek it after leaving a platform, fun. the " puzzles " so far are not explained well at all, and just result in you trial and erroring your way through em. Did you think this game offered a shred of flexibility in solving things? NOPE! there's only a single way to do things, a very- precisely set up way to do them. That sounds normal, but in a game where you are platforming - and die from freakin fall damage at a height of 7 feet? What the heck. So whatever, got through the first screen. Second one starts with a kid saying, oh a Yurei should be in this picture. 1. what's a yurei 2. how does he even know what one is 3. why does he know one belongs in the picture? Nice logical leaps here. So you get to the top of the levl, and oh my gosh, he spots a yurei. It then chases you down at lightning speeds, and kills you the instant it grazs your enormous hitbox. Super fun. You're supposed to move two boxes, so you can climb up and back afterwards, but if you didn't realize the yurei speeds at you faster than you can climb a massive ladder, you repeat it. And yes, every single time, he stops at the picture to comment how it needs a yurei in it. So you're [i]actually[/i] supposed to lower both boxes and when you climb down the ladder, jump off to the left and fall down platforms ( at a height that absolutely is enough to kill you, who would thnk to make a leap of faith when the kid dies after jumping off a rope ( a literal entry " puzzle " yes, you can die from jumping a little too high off the rope, your only means of escaping that area ) So with that in mind, why would ANYONE think to just jump off, and fall down to the ground? NOBODY would. So whatever, two ares down. now here is where I quit. You are in a field, and there's trees. You can hide in said trees. Okay, whatever simple enough. You walk a few feet, and some zombie, bloody lady thing, whatever it is - is walking SUPER slowly beyond the trees you can hide in. 1. you can't jump over here 2. if you get too close, she bends over backwards, and steamrolls into you at blinding speed 3. ^ you can't jump over her when she does this. 4. You can't hide in a tree when she gets alerted ( for reasons ) 5. you have to walk slower than she does ( which is incredibly slow ) and hide in each tree, because every once in awhile, she spazzes out, and looks behind her. ^ here's my issue. this isn't fun. I spent 10 minutes waiting for her slow a$$ to make her way to the right, hiding in each tree i saw, waiting for her to turn around, and then moving on. Until , I got to the last tree where she spazzed out ANYWAYS, blew all the lights up, and then steam rolled me into oblvion. this was TEN MINUTES of slowly inching along to just get GOTCHA'D at the end . this game is horribly designed, not often do i ALT + F4 out of a game because it ticked me off so badly. this is one of those games. I recommend this to absolutely nobody.

  very good puzzle games, you must follow all the instruction there to beat the stage! the atmosphere, characters, art, bgm and storyline i love it~ worth the money, you must tryy it's just 5 bucks buy this game, beat the stage and report here but there's still found a little bug, hope the devs fix faster. Support the Devs!~

  Well done on the 2D indie game. Really recommend it to those peeps who seeks puzzle solving games with a well told story lines. Everything is well laid out and lots of unexpected shocking moments. Once again, well done to the developers =)

  The premise is a good one; throw a small child into a world of monsters ripped from various folk tales. Unfortunately the execution is so poor that I simply can’t recommend this. You can check out my impressions video for more detailed thoughts. https://youtu.be/-79poOZSsvA The game is actually fairly well presented and could perhaps work as a creepy 2D puzzle platformer if it wasn’t for the terrible game design. Like Limbo but worse, Incubo is a game in which you have to die to progress. Almost every section with an enemy or puzzle requires you to lose numerous times to bypass it. Often you can’t even see the solution to an area until you’ve died several times. This trial and error gameplay is made all the worse by the sluggish movement and patchy checkpoints which require you to play sections of the game over and over. Some sections also seem to require very specific actions or precise movements to beat, which leads to frustration. This is death to a horror game too, as the repetition kills any tension built by the visuals and sound effects. If you disliked the seemingly random nature of Limbo’s gameplay then you’ll surely dislike Incubo.

  I changed my review from positive to negative, this is my reason 1. The choosing language bahasa Indonesia is nothing 2. Terrible control, worst every stage especially in grandma puzzle 3. Many bugs such flying box wtf i hope developers fix this game
