  Wake me up when the lewd version hits, this is not the lewd version. Apart from that, the translation is alright, and the gameplay works. *update*Hey, hey people. Apples here, Aight guys, the patch just dropped - the game is now a 10/10. Go buy it. Edited update #2: I'm about in the forth city, what I noticed. If you want a specific Job class, hold on to your SP points, because you can't distribute them to your next job. So, gotta plan what you need. Also, this game could seriously use a better scene skip thingy (it's not a big deal for me, just something I noticed.) Carry on.

  Actually played an MTL translation of this. 2 week later Kagura Games announced their english localization of this game. I deleted the MTL version and waited for about a month or two for the Kagura version. The translation is acceptable, as expected of kagura games. I was suprised that this game shares the same universe as Princesses Never loose.

  THE GAME

  MECHANICS Fox Girls Never Play Dirty (FGNPD) is a well fleshed out RPG Maker game. You control a party of up to 6 characters, each with their own classes, skills and abilities. Throughout the game, you visit multiple diferent cities and battle your way to a fair amount of dungeons. While you’re able to avoid most of the turn-based combat, completing the game will require you to do some grinding to get strong enough for the bosses. Controls: keyboard and mouse STORY Like its predecessor Princesses Never Lose, FGNPD is set in an alternate reality version of Italy called Stivale. You play as Ryonosuke, a university student from Oyashima (Japan) who is on vacation in Stivale. Shortly after arriving, you encounter a fox girl named Serena, who turns out to be the only surviving child of the deposed monarchs. After helping her in a fight against law enforcement officers, you join her quest to restore the monarchy. The story is generally light-hearted with an ample dose of silly humor. While the main characters may run into a number of setbacks, it never affects them overly much. The main plot is fully linear, with a number of optional sidequests available. As part of the storyline, Ryonosuke has the option to get romantically/sexually involved with two women (Serena and Lisa, a cat girl you meet along the way). This romance subplot has a number of meaningful choices and may lead to different endings anywhere between lovy-dovy and full NTR. QUALITY Avantgard made a decent effort on this game. The gameplay is reasonably balanced and entertaining enough to complete it. As mentioned before, there is a bit of grinding required, but it’s relatively fast-paced and won’t take up too much of your time. The story doesn’t really surprise anywhere, but has enough meat to it to bring the setting and characters to life. You may even find – as I did – the characters likeable enough to finish the game without going down the NTR route. The production quality – music, dialogue, voice acting (in Japanese) – are all pretty good, too.

  THE GOODS

  SUBJECT The lewd in FGNPD mainly involves fox girl Serena and cat girl Lisa, although there are a few scenes with minor NPC’s as well. Both girls start out prudish, opposed to sex in general and intent on finding the love of their live (Ryonusuke). Lewd events however cause them to gradually become more peverted. There’s various ways to play this out, but if you wish to go all way, the game goes full NTR on poor Ryonuske. As long as you win all your fights in the game, the sexual scenes remain consensual. Losing however will invariably lead to harassment or worse. Keywords: bondage, big breasts, devices, group, fluids, forced, humiliation, lactation, lesbian, monster, pregnancy, public, solo, straight, urination CONTENT 60 CG-based scenes. In addition, Serena’s and Lisa’s clothes may tear up during combat (three stages) and – if you don’t save them in time – they may get harassed by opponents during combat as well. ACCESS You’ll encounter a fair amount scenes as part of the main story, although many of them can be avoided by either dialogue choices or winning the combat. Most other scenes require you to go out at night (as either Lisa, Serena or Ryonosuke) and talk to certain NPC’s. These are clearly marked by a heart symbol. If you don’t wish to search for these NPC’s, there’s a one-eyed bat in every city which will tell you the location of lewd encounters for a small fee. After completing the game, you can unlock the gallery at the inn of Orangette (your starting city in the game). QUALITY The artwork is all of high quality and there’s quite a bit of variation. The artist has an eye for original angles, which may make otherwise common scenes interesting to watch after all.

  VERRO’S VERDICT

  Judging by the standards of the genre, FGNPD is a good game. You can tell the devs put both effort and love into making it. It features likeable characters, quality lewd, a passable story and enough content to warrant the full price Kagura is asking for it. You do need to have the stomach for NTR if you wish to fully enjoy it; however, it’s still worth playing if you skip that route. Well recommended.   The art is excellent, as are the many included scenes. The story is good and there are side quests for those who like challenges. The voice actor is the original mvp! And you can choose for vanilla or NTR based on action and win/lose against bosses, but of course you will choose a naughty action right.. (￢з￢)

  This game is certainly a weird one. Generally speaking, the game is fine. The annoyance of needing to constantly talk to the fortune teller to figure out the next location at certain points is a mild frustration and by the end, I was pretty ready for this journey to be over. If you decide to stick through it, it's pretty okay.

  so i went and check on dlsite and asked around. this developer is more a NTR type of developer. So, don;t buy this game is you don;t like NTR. The protag was only able to f the main girl after you beat the game. f as in p in v.
