Crashes in the same spot in the intro race every time regardless of settings. Right after you turn the corner with the plane to see the whole track. Broken as fuck.

Oh wow it keeps crashing during the intro sequence, who wouldve seen that one coming?

You drive real cars on giant Hot Wheels tracks in a terrarium floating in the sky. What more do you really want out of life?

Simply FH3's Expansion but bigger maps with better graphics and Biomes. Quite an amazing new experience how Hot Wheels game should be tho.

Great expansion and big nostalgia trip to FH3 and a past childhood. High speeds and crazy tracks lead to a great experience. The Hot Wheels story missions are very informational and actually have the first enjoyable dialogue in the entire game, however it is a shame that the legendary Hot Wheels designer Ryu Asada is never mentioned. Absolutely fantastic DLC, a must grab expansion for FH5. The game just isn't the same without the flame.

finally some progression. Tired of getting everything handed to you within an hour. Now theres actually progression and it should stay this way, the cars feel more rewarding and you actually want to continue playing so you unlock them. I 100% the DLC within 24 hours 5000/5000 medals. It's a short DLC but theres some fun cars and driving in a giant hot wheel track is fun. It's a shame that some people struggle with performance, that's a valid complaint. But the majority of complainers here, either because a simple progression path is too hard for them or they assume everyone played horizon 3 hot wheels so it must be recycled content when it really isn't. This Hotwheel dlc is improved in everyway over FH3's. Recommend.

It's a decent expansion with a big map, with a lot of flaws. The tracks themselves are cool and interesting but flow wise they're a pain. The races that are included are just not great, they're a hassle and it content locks you to using a specific class of cars from the get go (this includes freeplay). The flow is just bad and it just doesn't feel good, it's not satisfying and it's not fun. All in all the expansion is fairly decent but it's just not fun and currently not worth the money.

All style, no substance. I used to love Forza but they seem to be scared to take risks with both the main game and the dlc. The dlc is okay-ish i guess, but it's more of the same with a map that isn't as interesting as it may seem at first glance. 6/10

The content here is... Somewhat lacking. For 20 bucks, what do you get? Well, you get a few cars: 10, a lot of track mileage in hazard, and normal tracks. Hazard meaning Rumble bumps (blue bumps on typical orange track), Ice sections (Slightly slipperier sections of track (I mean slightly)), Normal terrain (There's all the normal horizon hazards, water, snow, ice, fire, magma, drivatars), and by normal I mean Magnetic track which is like normal track but it works upside down, fan track, which increases downforce and increases speed, booster track which launches you of at ludicrous speed, water slides, which increase speed as if you were on a flume of sorts, and everything else you'd expect, like loop the loops, and really long downhill sections. There's also a bunch of outfit re-skins (astronaut, and xs race suits, combined with t shirts) Totaling a grand total of like 5 total assets, but expanded to one t -shirt and hat combo, and one helmet and suit combo per tier (there are 4), resulting in 16 "unique" designs Think red, orange, purple and green for each, and a Hot wheels astronaut outfit. (2 more assets). bringing the total to an incredible 18 re-used, not particularly amazing bits of character customization, and 0 new clothing options that are actually new models. With that come 18 racing tracks, 10 of which are speed and 8 of which are hazard, which are basically Bring slicks, and bring rally tires, the menu screens. In concept, this should work well. It should be a rip roaring fun time, bent on ludicrous speeds, going upside down, and flying all over the place. But... it doesn't really play like that. You spend the majority of your time mashed into the orange track doing 150+, so there's somewhat little time to appreciate the sights, of which there are some nice ones, you spend the majority of the DLC in S1-S2 classes, so you are locked out of a significant number of slower options. Seriously I have zero Idea what exactly playground games has against F, E ,D, and C classes, but they've been on this vendetta for two straight games. Maybe it's handed down from T10, who has their own problem with slow cars. Not that hot wheels should be slow, but the FH3 expansion could at least accommodate a D class, fast vehicle. I know, I had one and it worked ok. Not everywhere, but largely in most places. Largely though, the track's super wide, and in some instances, you can wall ride or slam to get better times. Not exactly the mark of a great arcade racer. This means on average laps are long, but feel short due to the speed, and the wide road is forgiving, and rewards excessively aggressive driving, which this game definitely needed MORE of. /s The control is almost perfect, but physics and map errors crop up from time to time with cars just going weird with no input on loops or some sections of track, and clipping through assets on the map on some of the main terrain under the orange track on the ground. And you'll see a bunch on your trek to find 15 really annoying balloons with impact drivers, and 25 bonus boards that if you've completed the main game have literally no point to obtain. That's all for collectibles. After that there's functional rivals, and its tied to the X class mastery, making rivals tie into mastery for clean laps is... well, I don't know. I liked it, but I'm a racing masochist. I would wager most aren't. Also I tried unlocking the medals on S1, and it didn't work. Had to use S2. Which is also annoying, because I kinda hate S2 as a class. They work better here than in mexico though. Mostly due to the wide track and focus on speed. Either way rivals works, I just don't like the way it was shoehorned into the 100 checklist they tout. Yeah there's 100 challenges. Most are really insignificant. In reality, you get a few more base jumps, drifts, speed traps, and speed zones, and about 3-6 races per tier. I've 100% finished it, and, it skipped the pro A achievement despite me definitely doing that since I got the car that came from it, which I can't be arsed to go back and get the achievement for, some other things don't work right, there's reports the main game now crashes like mad, and by and large really this will take like... 1-2 play sessions to rip through. and like maybe 10 hours to 100%, give or take a couple. Did I hate it? No. Would I say buy it for 20 bucks? Again, No. It's fun enough I guess. I think FH3's Hot Wheels pack was better though, at least gameplay wise. This pack is... adequate. If you're going to do something AGAIN. I think you need to re-explore the concept a bit better. As well as the Lego expansion was received for FH4. They probably could have done something original. It's not like Mexico's a small country. There's plenty of capability to explore more of it. There's some personality here I think, and maybe I'm being too harsh. But it really comes across as re-hashed. Also, my god I hate the voice acting in this series. Either way, I'd wait for a discount.

Oh boy, I love a shoehorned progression system that makes me do a bunch of irrelevant things to unlock all my cars I had already driven. Also, multiplayer is in a rough state, and has been for months. Desynced cars and horrific loading times abound. But why fix those when you can nerf wheelspins? Don't buy it.
