  The best software available to make a discord bot with. Intuitive, easy to use, and very useful. With a very active developer, and a super helpful community if your ever stuck. It's definitely a must have if your interested in making a bot for discord.

  The prospect of building my own server bot with DBS was very alluring. My server had a need, and no current bot came close to fitting them. Now, after 108 hours in program I can emphatically confirm this program is very, uh, something alright. The INTERFACE may look deceptively simple to use, but you will never get past the 2nd node without some kind of coding knowledge. I figured I should watch some tutorial videos. That’s a great place to usually start! Imagine my surprise when I tried to find how to begin. There is absolutely no discernible logic to the videos. It's like someone started out with the basics , got bored, did a few niche tutorials that were interesting, then finally lost interest in trying. Fail. Sad Panda. I sat looking around, trying for another day or two and there on the load page was “Documentation: NEWLY UPDATED”. By gosh, I bet there has to be some manual, or how to guide when it comes to the interface and options. Nope. Fail part 2. There IS a guide **which is NOT shown previous to buying the software** and it starts off admirably but it seems as the information got more elementary to the developer, they just kinda gave. Then went to something interesting, then literally just stops. Last document update was 4 months ago. What? Newly updated it says! I go to the discord server and try and ask questions. It was obvious the same people who wrote the manual and tutorials were manning the discord server. Fail part 3. What happened? I went back and read over everything. And then it hit me. It never said it was for novice, beginners, people without coding knowledge. It just said no coding required. Yay for reading comprehension!! Dropping the humor, and in all honesty, this program REQUIRES a firm grasp of coding to use. The lack of supporting documentation makes it almost impossible to use for everyone else. As much as I wish I could recommend it, I can’t. Buy a humble bundle instead. More fun to play a humble than to feel humbled!

  Its okay for making rudimentary bots or for learning how Discord bots work if youre new, but for more "power" users or bots with specialized purposes I wouldnt recommend it as the available tools become very limiting very quickly and its easier to just save yourself the frustration and use a programming library instead

  I love this app!! As a developer I usually would rather code everything myself but DBS absolutely amplifies workflow saving a lot of time. Highly customizable and easy to use. I also love that they added add-on mods that you can install and that it allows me to custom develop scripts of my own which I can plugin. Highly recommended.

  Things that should be added/updated: - Warning/error screen: We can't tell what mistake we made. -More scripts -The preview image isn't in place when editing messages -During editing, there should be a zoom in and out feature. I'm tired of scrolling back and forth These are the things that bugs me out the most. Of course, there are many problems that has to be fixed. As a person who codes regularly, I think that this needs update. A lot.

  The software itself is pretty good and simple response bots work well. However for alot more complex functions you will need support from eg the discord which is very slow and does not respond most of the time
