  Okay, so i´ve played quite a bit of this game now and i´m going to tell you(The consumer) what I think. Conductor deluxe is a full time strategy game that heavily relies on timing and strategic planning. It was published and made by Northplay, consisting of a development team of 4-5 people. Originally this game was released for iphones and android phones. Recently however, the game was ported to pc and released on steam. The reason i wanted to check it out, was because one of my good friends recommended it to me(as he had played it on his phone). And well here we are. In this game, you(the player) posses the power to take control of trains and rails(and for some unknown reason, you have the title of "conductor", despite you clearly being a god) First of all, this game is incredibly fun and addictive and yet extremely challenging at times. The game also provides a ton of content, at this point in time of me writting this review, i have over 4 hours played, and i´ve only made it through the 3 first overworlds (24 overworlds total). Not to mention that i have barely touched the custom level creation. Yes you heard that right, this game has custom level creation. However, you have to earn certain structures such as "longer rails"(don´t worry you still have unlimited basic structures fo you to use) you unlock these structures by opening chests which you occasionally are rewarded from playing the main game. I do feel like this is quite unnecessary, also let it be known, at this point in time of me writting this review, there is no way of buying these chests. Maybe in the future the devs will change this system in which you earn chests or just remove chests altogether (the second option is prefered naturally). The custom level creation also offers deep customization and details for you to add, to your custom levels(finally my detail fetishes can be satisfied, it´s like cities skylines all over again). There are also quite a few alternate trains/skins, which you are also rewarded with occaisionally. you can change what train type you want to use at almost any given time. It´s a bit underwhelming, maybe you could add to it with some paint jobs or "custom grafitti" maybe, but hey it´s still something. All in all, i would strongly recommend this game, great challenge, plenty of fun and with a ton of content for you to utilize. And all of this for only 10 bucks!

  This game is so disappointing. Reading the description I was hoping for a game involving building and running a railroad or even a decent simulation/puzzle instead this game involves around not hitting cars buses at road crossings and not running into other trains. Not a signal in sight though. Would have been better described by the title Train Crash. The only skill you need are fast reactions and good mouse control. This is a puzzle game designed for children and young ones at that.

  I picked this up during the Steam Summer Grand Prix 2019 for 71p, I must say it's worth full price! Pleasant surprise. Challenging and a lot of fun. It has a built in level editor and a lot of community made levels already. :D

  An incredibly difficult game. But my god is it rewarding completing a level after spending a while trying to beat it. If this is the kind of game you like, go for it. If not, give it a look anyway.

  [h1]What started out fun turned to annoyance and frustration[/h1] I ended up only enjoying this game for about two hours, basically the first 4-5 islands unlocked and played through. After that it evolves from enjoyable puzzle-solving to frantic clicking, with occasional bouts of luck (read: lack of luck) highly influencing clicking the right thing (hitting the right switch is in some levels annoyingly finicky). It's possible I didn't do my research properly, but I was expecting something more akin to Train Valley (the first one, which I enjoyed a lot), with a touch of urgency added on top. This is not that game. Instead you must find frenzy and endless retries to succeed fun, in order to enjoy this game (after the first section of the game, at least). The game looks absolutely beautiful and the level designs and puzzles range from good to great, so for the right person I would recommend the game. And perhaps moreso the mobile version, where I assume the interface is better suited. But watch a recording of some of the later levels to see if it'd be worth it to you.

  This is not Deluxe, AT ALL. There is a free version with more content (endless mode) on mobile. Devs gave up on updating PC version, EVEN WHEN the asset and code is already done for the mobile. If anyone needs free commuter pass PM me.
