  No time for a detailed review so I give this game a rank D. Mediocre game - sadly you can forget it.. See my profile for more details about my reviews. Additional notes: trust the reviews. Do you like Doodle God? go do that game instead. This is ... I don't know what this is. It should have been like a tutorial/guide/spoiler introduction to the main game, offered for free. Admittedly, it is very cheap, but the way Doodle God became so cash grab orientated is saddening, the concept was awesome. This is just bad, bad game design.

  Slow, repetitive, boring, bad quality game. Game flow gets annoying fast. Audio effects are not good.

  I have to admit.... I'm not thrilled I bought this with real money. I know it said it was "short", but we literally finished the game in a little more than 30 minutes. The game had no real substance at all to it and was incredibly repetitive.

  Since this Doodle God game looks like a short experiment to "test the waters" for a mobile app, I wanted to give my 2 cents on it. Pros: +The game makes use of the puzzles's gameplay mechanic in the original Doodle God. Your receive certain elements, and your objective is to combine them in order to obtain a specific new one. This is good since it gives the game a more tangible goal, which players tend to like more. +They don't always give you the 4 basic elements, so you don't end up making the same combinations over and over again. Also, this time around it seems to me like there are less "linear" combinations (elements that can only transform into 1 other thing), although that is hard to tell since there are only 37 levels. +There is an encyclopedia that saves previous new combinations. Very helpful, specially at a really casual level. Cons: - Sound effects are pretty bad. This surprised me a lot, given the fact that the original titles had really good ones. Among the worst offenders is the sound produced when you beat a level and the final element moves to its sprite in the objective panel and then comes back to the center of the screen (which, by the way, feels pretty pointless). - I'm worried about the encyclopedia. Right now there are only 37 elements, sure, but what will happen once there are more and it becomes an endless scroll to see the one you are looking for? It doesn't look efficient at all, and seems like an easy way to piss players off. I propose making it so that it only shows the possible combinations within the starting elements given, although that might requiere a consistent DSA that may or may not be possible because of relevant app limitations. - The biggest fault I could find is the lack of quotes! They were, and still are, one of the best things of the entire franchise. Hopefully they will be added back to the real deal. - Obviously, the lack of levels is a problem right now. Difficulty is also almost non existent. Conclusion: Right now, there is not much to recommend. If you think it's worth 1 buck, go for it. Hopefully this will become a fun little time waster for mobile and something worth playing during train rides and road trips. I'll check it out once it is released and has more content on it.

  100% the game in 0.5 hours (maybe even less), here is my review. Pros: -Fun Doodle God mecanics. -Easy. -Nice visuals. -Hints for help. Cons: -"Completed Task" appears out of the window. -Very short (with only 37 levels), looks more like a demo version or free part of a mobile app. -Can't change window size. -The elements popping up on the level select screen are very few. Overall Score 6/10. Nice visuals, good mechanics and hints, but short and with some screen size problems.

  Incredibly pointless game. I'm a fan of the "element creation" genre, but this is just bad. It's linear, many of the combinations make little sense even compared to other element games, and as others have said, it's incredibly short. Plus, whoever drew the art for the Rainbow element seriously needs to reevaluate that choice. I only bought this because it was bundled with Doodle God for a massive discount.
