  This game is short, but there are multiple outcomes for each choice you make so you can play the game again and try something new. The first time I played it I some how got everyone killed so I played again and im not sure I helped them out any better. The art is really cool I like the bright colours and use of red. There's also bonus clicking things achievements. Click that frog.

  This is a really good game. Short, but incredibly charming, an absolute steal for the price. The dialogue is extremely well written, and it manages to be funny and thought provoking. If you're like me, you'll keep replaying it (and reliving the same day a la "Groundhog Day") until you get the best (or worst) possible ending for all your clients. Definitely do not sleep on this one!

  A good game to have some laughs, short and charming that is the secret of this game. No bugs or other technical issues found during the playthrough. With a decent writing and some [i] crazy [/i] dialogues, the characters are surprising charismatic and hold your attention from the beginning to end of the game, by the way is a short game which is not necessarily a bad thing, you can notice by the price of the game. Worth a try, hope to see new games coming from the same devs ;)

  [i] My Experience [/i] Cartomante reminds me of a game I played and enjoyed last year, Astrologaster. In both, you play a character that attempts to help others with problems through some sort of divination. In my view, Astrologaster was a superior game. First of all, I think that a degree of empathy is missing in Cartomante - I did not get the feeling that my character was particularly interested in helping her clients. This could partially be because the clients themselves are so bizarre. A werewolf love triangle? The pairing of a mouse and an impossibly-strong mute? It was difficult to relate to these characters and the predicaments they've found themselves in. In Astrologaster, the main character actually wanted to be a doctor (but his "science" wasn't accepted), and the situations presented by clients seemed more plausible. The game felt like it had more "heart." I also didn't feel that my character was particularly good at reading the cards she revealed. She would recite almost a stock-standard interpretation of a certain aspect of the card, and would relate it rather poorly to the situation presented by the client. I've had a friend (who found tarot cards fascinating) do a "reading" for me, and I found it much more useful and compelling than any interpretations constructed by this "professional." Although I certainly don't think that there is any soothsaying involved, tarot can help you view a situation from perspectives you hadn't previously considered. It seems that Cartomante is aiming to be more of an absurdist comedy game, rather than a game that explores the facets of trying to help someone through somewhat unconventional means. If this is what you're looking for (a more Jazzpunk type of experience), the game may click for you. However, it didn't click for me.

  [i]Go with the Grace, and may It bring closure to your troubles.[/i] [b]Cartomante[/b] is an indie visual novel where you play as a fortune teller, interact with a cast of eccentric characters and read their fortune using tarot cards. Which interpretation you choose from the tarot cards influences your clients' reactions. The game is short, but immensely replayable with several clever, funny and sometimes mysterious dialogue lines. There are quite a few possible outcomes for each reading, so don't be afraid to pick weird or unconventional choices. You can always replay the game if you don't like the outcome!

  Great history, soundtrack and good laughs! The characters are really well elaborated and so are the chats options. I laugh out loud with the staring moment (still laughing hahha)! The game length is totally dependent on you. Wanna try new outcomes? Just keep re-playing your days and making different choices! Isn't that philosophically beautiful ? All of this just to say that I really appreciate it!

  Great game from this new studio. It's really a fun, quick, and funny game that feels like the developers really cared about the releasing a complete experience. Being a short game it's actually part of why it's so nice, since you can have different outcomes in such a small time playing it. I'm looking forward for the next titles of Garoa Studios! One minor point is there seems to be only 3 different cards, but the game makes you to choose 1 from 6. But after 4 or 5 runs, I had only chosen 3 different cards and made me wonder if I had pull all of them. After that, I discovered it is actually 3.
