  虽说这种走两步就要过剧情的设定让我实在不知道是在打游戏还是在看电影,而且剧情真的好长好长每次过剧情我的手柄都会自动关机n次，电脑也会自动黑屏……无奈这个沈夜真的太太太戳我了，而且怎么会有这么贴脸的CV啊！！！原本我是觉得主角团都不错的，但是在沈夜的衬托下都黯然失色了（不愧是我从开场动画就盯住的男人！）剧情的话……全是刀（从一开始的音乐就知道了555）古剑在发刀方面果然从不会让我失望。当视觉小说看还是很快乐的。

  I more focus on the negative of current game, hope the future update can fix those problem 1. The achievement icon... pop up too frequency, average every move you made will trigger a pop up, really hard to focus on game itself 2. the battle animation is really long, every combat move took for 3 or 5 sec to finish, which cause the phase of battle really slow and boring, like playing a cheap mmo game. 3. the dialog of the character is really complex, REALLY way over normal kind of story, which maybe good for small-scale of demo game or idle game, but for a 20~30 hours long game , it's a torture for player to watch it thought. 4. for previous point, maybe a rewind sense like Tetlle game would be nice, since it's really hard to keep track the story after you come back to game for few round of save and load. 5. the key setting locked the shift ,alt this kind of main key, which made the key configuration even difficult, is really weird to control while mix mouse and keyboard at same time, maybe more alternative control option for player? last maybe translate to English and made the EN version of voice over, will introduced this game to all steam player, since there have many user can't read Chinese, hope to see the future improvement to this series, but for now can't really give it recommend.

  This game is actually pretty decent. Personally I felt like Gujian 1 was too difficult. The gameplay is alright (which is already an improvement over the first Gujian). The music is pretty good. Personally I think the story, while not as intricate as say Xianjian 4, is still quite a bit more intricate and well-planned than most RPGs today. It is also filled with quite a lot of melancholy. However, you do need to know Chinese to play this game since right now there is no English support. Further, it does take quite a lot of knowledge to figure out the plot (just knowing basic words probably won't cut it since the style of language used is rather classical).

  Pretty interesting story, more like a movie watching than merely a gameplay. The only nit I could pick is that the story doesn't seem to be strongly connected to the previous game.

  I'm playing this game to practice Chinese. First of all, if that's what you're looking, don't even try it until you have at least a middle school level grasp on the language. I studied Chinese as a kid and speak it fluently, so I'm not your typical beginner student. I just needed a break from writing characters over and over and memorizing them, and this game is pretty good for that. Be warned, you cannot learn a language by playing a game, and playing this game is useless without a solid understanding of Chinese already. It's unfortunate that the main language-learning app on Steam, Influent, is a fucking joke. I needed a Chinese software that's easy on the eyes, has some hot chicks, but not to the level of slooty, and this fits the bill. The developers are based in 上海 so I know this game is legit when it comes colloquialisms, syntax, etc. So, unto the game itself. Well, I have little idea of what's going on. It took me 25 minutes just to figure out the menu with the help of a radical dictionary (game doesn't have pinyin obviously). As far as I can make out you play as some kind of steampunk inventor whose creations break into the garden of your estate. Well, I suppose when I figure this game out I'll have reached my desired proficiency.

  Im a huge rpg fan and played plenty of Taiwan rpg since DOS days. GuJian is an ambitious undertaking to infuse classic chinese fantasy folklore with a bit of everything in modern rpgs on every platform. It has QTE, job board with ranking, town exploration with nothing to see... Etc etc. Sounds great? Not when QTE is utterly pointless and every job you take is immediate battle. No hunt, no exploration. But the worst offending bit of the game? Utterly long boring cutscenes that really... Is too long... Way too long. Typical play : fight a few battles for 10 mins, hit cutscene that can last as long as 15 mins. The best part was I watched a long cutscene, then game gave me control to walk my character 5 steps to a stairs, another long cutscene!!!! What is wrong with the game designers? They really wrote : long cutscene : hand back control to press up arrow key : long cutscene. Honestly, the developers cant decide between making an interactive movie and a real ROLEPLAYING GAME. Buy the game when you feel you have plenty of time and patience.

  Beautiful, well detailed in Mandarin. Outstanding audio. Very large game, in chase for completion of activities and achievements. Being a novel, can be considered 'longwinded'. Engross in watching cutscenes every few moment in your first play. Sinking into activities like Cooking, digging for Treasures, looking out for Item boxes to open are tedious. Achievement clearing is a pain, spanning over at least three playthroughs, too many, too much to look into, for fear of missing out, even with meticulous care, Yet few bugged achievements would prevent 100% completion. Inventory, weapon slot and item management are poor, missing out the previous 'New item found' tab. Click fest. Much loadings crossing zones, excessive pausing for cutscenes. Party self AI combat may seem smart and interesting, messy controls in player combat, stuttering, slow start, combat becomes too fast pace, for the slower Human controlled character. Having to set the other characters on idle just to solo for attaining most combat achievements. No doubt a great, warm and heartfelt story adventure. Game simply has much flaws. 功德圆满 achievement, caused 3 locked achievements, preventing my 100% completion.
