ABOUT THIS APP

The new version of the Black Forest app gives you over 4,000 tour suggestions with useful descriptions and detailed maps for hikers, cyclists, winter sports enthusiasts, families and other activities. You will also find numerous excursion destinations that you can display sorted by category. There are also over 5,000 hosts listed that you can contact directly from the app. All tours can be saved offline so that orientation also works without network reception.

For e-bikers we have listed all charging stations etc. under a separate menu item.

ORIENTATION

So that you can get a quick overview, the app shows you the tour offers in the vicinity when the GPS is switched on

What's new is the navigation with practical voice output, the tour planner function and the option to record and save your tour. Equally new and useful is the direct link to the snow report.

OUTDOORACTIVE ACCOUNT

In order to be able to continue using your recorded tours, you must create a free Outdooractive account. Don't worry, there are no obligations involved.

Anyone who was used to our "old app" may first have to get used to the new look and menu navigation. The new functions and the faster loading times of the maps reward you for this.
