Introduction

XBXPad offers you the possibility to use your smartphone as XBox controller for your XBox One or XBox Series X/S. Do you need a second XBox gamepad for playing multiplayer games on your console, did your XBox gamepad break down and you need a quick replacement or do you want to use your Android only controller on your XBox? Well, then XBXPlay is the right app for you.

Hardware recommendations

• A wired Internet connection for your XBox is strongly recommended

• Smartphone should be connected to a 5GHz WiFi for minimum delays

• A high-speed internet connection with upload and download speeds of at least 15 Mbps

XBXPad connects to your XBox via the Remote Play protocol. XBXPad allows you to remote control any XBox game which supports Remote Play. Control games like GTA V, Fortnite, Call of Duty, The Last of Us, FIFA and even XBox 360 backwards compatibility games like Banjo Kazooie or Halo 3 and many more with your smartphone.

Limitations

- You cannot connect multiple XBXPad apps to your XBox at the same time

- Connection can only be established via WiFi

XBXPad connects to your XBox via the Remote Play protocol. XBXPad will only work in applications and games which support Remote Play (almost all games support Remote Play). As XBXPad is connecting to your XBox via the Remote Play protocol, the XBox is sending audio and stream data to your smartphone. Despite no audio and video will be displayed, XBXPad does receive that data which may have an impact on your internet traffic so please keep that in mind.
