To enable the keyboard, do the following:

If you have Lollipop or Marshmallow (Android 5.x or 6.x):

* Go to Settings -> Language & input

* Click on 'Current keyboard'

* Click on 'Choose Keyboards'

* Enable the 'Gopher Keyboard ʕ◔ϖ◔ʔ' by flipping the switch

If you have Nougat (Android 7.x):

* Go to Settings -> Language & input

* Click on 'Virtual keyboard'

* Click on 'Manage keyboards'

* Enable the 'Gopher Keyboard ʕ◔ϖ◔ʔ' by flipping the switch

You can quick switch between keyboards that permit it with the globe icon (usually to the left of the spacebar).
