How to use Family Locator by GPS, detailed instructions:

🔵 Foremost, you need to sign in in-app. The app has two methods: sign in with your Google account, or create a new account with your email and password. Then you should give all permissions for the app to grant access to the precise location and allow getting location all the time. Accept Privacy Policy and press the next button.

⚠️ In some cases, if a GPS tracker works buggy, you need to change the battery settings of your device, remove battery optimization for this app, and disable all restrictions for working in the background.

🔵 Next step: Create your first group to track location. Choose a name that'll be visible only to you.

🔵 Next step: Getting a code to invite other members to share a location.

After creating a group, you get an invitation code to share with people who are going to connect with it. Any invited person can invite another person to connect. You can always get an invitation code in a group's bottom menu. Pay attention that an invitation code is active for only 24 hours, then you need to recreate it.

⚠️ The person who receives an invitation code should enter it to connect to a group. For that, an invited person should select the «connect to group» option, select a name, and enter an invitation. That's it, now you can track each other's locations.

🟢 You can always leave a group, just swipe on an item with a group's name to remove it. In settings, you may log out or remove your account to prevent your location tracking.

A little info about the bottom menu Family Locator. In the bottom menu, you can find some info about users involved in a group.

📍 Location: This shows the time when a member of a group's position has been updated.

🌐 Network: This shows the time a member of a group's network connection succeeds. It's crucial to have strong network connection, to make Family Locator works correct.

🎯 Accuracy: shows accuracy in location tracker.

📡 Satellites: show the number of satellites while the GPS tracker is online.

In the right-top corner, you can find the member's battery info.

📌 Places and areas. With a bottom menu, you may add areas. Open a related section, in the bottom menu. Select an area on the map, select a radius, choose the name of the place, and select checkboxes whatever it needs to alert you to enter or leave an area. Now you may track position all the time and receive messages when members of a group leave or enter the selected area. To remove previously created areas, select it on a map and press remove. To edit areas, select it on a map and change whatever you want a name for an area, radius, or place.

🔴 Please note that sending alerts depends on many factors. Strong network connectivity and GPS availability are not many of them.
