Manage your team and strategy

Compose and manage your team. Recruit allies, draft cards, collect items and manage synergies to optimize your chance of success. We put an emphasis on strategic decisions, drafting and creative builds. Combat is automatic, and executes your pre-planned builds for each character.

Character diversity and combinations

Each character has 100+ cards, distributed across 5 subclasses, having a good blend of offensive, defensive, individual or team-based builds.

Each card, has 4 important properties:

• The card text, dictating the ability that will be executed

• The card Attunements, bonuses that, when combined, give team-wide special effects

• The card level, indicating the power. All 100 cards are upgradeable, and have 3 levels.

• The card type, attack, skill and utility - determining what other effects it can interact with.

Choose your path through a responsive world

Journey across the civilization to reach Empyria, the magical city in the sky, and AI stronghold. The road is rich with friends, enemies and intricacies. Make strategic decisions journeying through mechanically and aesthetically responsive and varied environments. Gain powerful effects through random events, and make decisions which have the potential to change future events or enemies - not only in the same run, but in future runs.

Live and die. Then live again

Perfect your strategy to prevail in a cycle of death and revival in a world long past its peak. As you fail, you feed the AI information, and help it grow stronger, your builds and strategies help inform the AI of what to expect and mimic. Each time you fail, the AI takes control of your body, and uses you against future challengers, helping the game grow in difficulty, as players grow in power. The only way to free yourself from the AI's control, is to defeat it.
