  [h1][b][i]The long-awaited epilogue we expected to get in the first title... or not.[/i][/b][/h1] [h1]A light-hearted (and personally unsatisfying) beginning:[/h1] As I noted in the main game’s review, there are many aspects coming to the stated girls’ relationship that do result wrong, even while taking in count the writer might have wanted to liven things up for entertainment purpose. [b][i]Right at the beginning we have the typical comical scene between Akuru and Ren where Akuru once again is stating to be willing to marry her husband. However this time the more the conversation progresses, the more bitter I personally felt coming to Akuru’s character. For example once the conversation comes to the point where Ren does suggest getting married given the girls have been together for some time, the response Akuru offers in return is among lines of her not willing to get married purely because she’d have to treat Ren as a priority taking the special place reserved for her fictional husbandos only. The base idea from main game that was getting portrayed here, still is showing us Akuru pushing aside Ren (while engaged and cohabitating) and what bothered me the most is that while Akuru keeps not paying enough attention to Ren, she still gets jealous over Ren. What triggers such feelings is a sudden job opportunity Ren receives, as well as the idea of her leaving home in order to head to the beauty salon to discuss the mentioned offer with an esthetician friend of hers – Aira-san. So once again, Akuru is showing her jealousy to the point of stating that Ren while conversating together with Aira-san looks more like a couple than Ren and Akuru themselves.[/i][/b] And that is pretty much of place considering how Ren is getting treated from her partner, that this forced-like relationship I saw in them during the first title’s playthrough turns out to be getting worse turns so far. [h1]To sum it up:[/h1] The plot’s elaboration is not up to my taste as mentioned and here I will explain why. The base idea is nice and the concept of being a weeaboo meeting a girl with a broad social life might’ve been fun to savour in this game if elaborated differently. If the game didn’t involve Akuru being as distant from her girlfriend to the point the relationship appears one-sided given she can still be tsundere/cold as a character, which is one thing, but neglecting and avoiding her significant other pleading her constantly for attention she never gets is just plain bitter. [b][i]To conclude this with Akuru ending up to spy on Ren and getting jealous[/i][/b] – just a big combo of dull elements we get to witness right at the beginning of the after-story which should imply a happy ending, right? But what satisfaction would there be in getting a happy ending if the story develops among all these constant red flags? If the story would’ve been arranged even just [i]slightly[/i] differently to not result as bland and even bothersome from the player’s point of view, we could’ve gotten something more playful and fun to read through. [b][i]The idea of the wedding starting after Akuru’s misguided response[/i][/b] is also a tad sad given the scene could’ve been used and resulted as fun, but maybe if it didn’t guide the two to an actual wedding just yet? [h1]Where the events do get shaken up a bit:[/h1] [b][i]While Akuru keeps regretting the mistaken response she gave to her girlfriend, Shino (Akuru’s childhood friend) and Aira-san (Ren’s childhood friend) happen to be the first acquaintances of the two to come to know about the news given they were present at the scene. It doesn’t take much time for Shino to get a grasp of Aira-san’s feelings towards Ren, and, given the similarity of Shino’s feelings coming to the idea of the wedding, the two decide to create a bit of commotion to the couple in hope to make them cancel the wedding plans. The newly met partners in crime start following around the future spouses, theoretically to help them with plan organizations, in order to create inconvenient situations that may influence their plans. For example when Akuru gets to greet Ren’s mother, it was planned to cause trouble in a way to let her hobbies be exposed to the strict parent of her future wife, and so on.[/i][/b] How will this story end? You may or may not imagine it already, however it is up to you to discover the conclusion. [h1]Featurings:[/h1] Same as first title, this is a choice-based Visual Novel. This time we do have the possibility of getting two (similar) endings; one of which will be more on the playful side in comparison to the other (which still does feature funny moments as well as heart-warming scenes during the epilogue). The story will still switch the narrative point of view being portrayed from other characters’ perspectives. The art is of high quality as per first title and realized equal design. A big bonus are the stunning dresses featured in this game that we finally get to see (which we were all looking forward to in the first title, given the featured cover picture of the game). However, I will not recommend at all purchasing the game because of art only and advice to take in count the fact this story is not as lovey-dovey as you might expect it to be. Which of course after making us believe the couple would get married in first game, is a tad disappointing given I was still hoping their relationship would mature and evolve properly. The game also features quality Japanese voice acting and the possibility of adding in a 18+ DLC (which I personally did not play). The music and the story is very laid-back and offers cutesy vibes overall and while I did not appreciate the main traits of the portrayed relationship among our main heroines I still enjoyed the throughout experience this game did offer. [h1]Overall:[/h1] On personal level and from the objective point of view the relationship between the main characters is full of negative traits and was not built up with proper thought. Nonetheless, I do recommend this Visual Novel if you played the previous title and are willing to discover the conclusion of the story. Be warned that this game is less than 3h long before deciding whether to purchase it full-priced or not.   The graphics are breathtaking, the voice acting is superb, the characters are super unique in the way that they love what (or who) they love and I have yet to find another yuri visual novel that is as happy, positive and fun as this one. If you love yuri then this is a must have. And yes i cried at the end and played it twice right away. I hope the studio will make another yuri game again that is as pretty and fun as this one.

  It's very cute, and the illustrations are adorable, but for the price point it is a little short. It's a fairly sweet feel-good story, though, which might be worth picking up if you want some fluffy yuri goodness.

  Ok so this is cute. There is a glitch early on in the game that I found out is caused because of the censorship steam forced on the publisher. There is a quick scene that is meant to happen but doesn’t and the screen goes off and can brick the current instance, so quick save a bunch, Speaking of censorship, it legit ruins the game. I recommend getting this from manga gamer or jastusa if u can. Now if you have steamdeck unfortunately you are completely out of options because the jays and mangagamer versions have installers that are .exe and for what ever reason they will not function in any environment I have tried to use. So my recommendation is wait for a sale, get this game for 5 bucks or no more than 10, then go buy the full directors cut version on hasnt, not the dlc(it wont extract from exe either) Then go into the file containing the exe for install and grab all the Arc files and copy them into your steam App Library. The game will revert to the unedited version and work fully without any glitches or censorship. This sounds very roundabout and maybe something that will disease players but the art is amazing so if you are studying illustration, it’s most definitely worth it.

  Very cute and wholesome yuri vn. im very happy that they made a sequal that showed us their life after they became a couple and not just them becoming a couple. am a little sad that its so short, but very much a good yuri vn. :)

  I love the sequel! This game has been in my wishlist for so long. I've only decided to give a review now! Akuru is getting to accept her feelings more and Ren is actually aware that marriage for them is too soon! The two girls have definitely matured and I don't find Akuru's fangirling too much annoying unlike the first visual novel. D-Does anyone know where I can get the nsfw patch? Music is great! 10/10 Art 10/10! Voice acting 10/10!!! Story 9.9/10!

  The sequel to OshiRabu: Waifus Over Husbandos. As with its predecessor, it still has the same excellent artwork and great voice acting, but the problems with this game are no less than its predecessor. The terrible plot, not only in logic and characterization is extremely poor, the screenwriter's attempt to highlight the conflict between hobby and marriage certainly has its intentions, but also completely ignored the target audience of this game, resulting in a lot of curses. And the game being too short is also a fatal problem, even if the previous game time is added together, I'm afraid that is only equivalent to the length of a lightweight visual novel. If you are still attracted to the game's art style and characters, you can still buy the game, but be sure to consider whether you can tolerate the game's terrible plot.
