  An amazing game! I'm not a big fan of VN but I LOVE this game a lot. The art, the music and the story are fantastic. Your choices affect the story and because it's not so long, I enjoyed it a lot. It never feels boring, you can skip interactions, can say only good things about it.

A very impressive swimmer, has won 1st place at a competition, however… she happens to find herself driven in a corner coming to her grades. Being unable to pass the year equals to ending up doomed and grounded forever in the first grade if lacking the ability to apprehend the requested education. Therefore all the efforts, dreams and struggles will result wasted. So, to have a fresh start at working even harder, Yaru decides to sneak in at the school’s swimming pool during night in order to practice. However, there’s an odd rumour spreading around more and more – it is said there is a ghost residing inside the pool that might come after you if you enter the building at night…[/i][/b] [h1]Another worn-out soul?[/h1] [b][i]Some odd turn of events keeps taking place at the school grounds from Yaru’s point of view. Not only she starts to actually doubt the existence of the mentioned specter, but as she is unable to get any proper rest due to stress coming to the studies which are not producing any real progress, she seems to be starting to hallucinate grotesque shapes and creatures…[/i][/b] [h1]Featurings:[/h1] Ghost in the pool is a horror Visual Novel produced by CASCHA GAMES displaying a very eerie story that will keep you on your toes while having a quite short, yet quality horror experience. The art style is presented as a monochrome comic book and appears to be highly inspired by Junji Ito works. While going through the story we will be constantly accompanied by entrancing BGM and on point sound effects that will lead us to savour considerably the whole experience. The offered translation is not 100% on point, but still appears to be understandable. This Visual Novel does offer the option of interacting with objects (which you can skip through as well), some choices and multiple endings. The epilogue scenes are a bit repetitive, while the story’s finale does offer 3 variations. [h1]Personal considerations:[/h1] The atmosphere of this game is very well-portrayed so the public can both feel curiosity towards the story, as well as fully perceive the uneasy atmosphere of the game. Being a horror enthusiast myself, all I can say I enjoyed each single part of the game and am pleased with having picked this little gem. [h1]Overall:[/h1] The game is eerie at its pique and is highly recommended to horror enthusiasts looking for a short story rich game.   *Edited* I really enjoy this game! It is a bit short, but really good! Very good for a first game develop! I only did one play through, but plan to play the rest. It's a game that I want to know what else could happen. *I do want to add the music is amazing! My first play through, the music was different, but the second time was great! I really love the sound as well, It really gave me the chills. I did like the point and click adventure horror. It has quite a few hidden things in there to look for!* I believe the artwork was amazing! I absolutely loved it! The ghost was terrifying looking. Great artwork! *The story was enjoyable! I really enjoy seeing the suspense. The one thing I think that could be better if the main character had a friend or two. Maybe a little more interaction with more than I saw in my first play through. Though there might be more than I know.* Overall: For what I played in a first game develop, Amazing! I would love to see more and see more of the game and hopefully more in the future. I'm satisfied of finding this and giving it a try. I would recommend this game to my friends who either enjoy horror stories and maybe enjoyed being scared!

  A little slow to get going but once it does, things ramp up nicely to a very cool ending/s. I loved the illustrations!
