  Decent indie survival horror game which is made by one person (I think). The good: -performance (mostly) -graphics -level design -some puzzles, not too much, also not too difficult -gunplay -item balancing is mostly pretty good, except fuel which is very scare The bad -story, cutscenes, voice acting -just 4 weapons but this didn't bother me that much (pistol, shotgun, assault rifle, magnum) -what is more annoying is that you can't change weapons with the keyboard numbers or the mousewheel, instead you have to open your inventory and then double click the weapon -not enough save rooms which isn't a problem because of saving but rather to have access to the item box because... -...inventory space is too small (just 11 spots), especially since even documents take space in your inventory -the whole burn mechanic is kinda annoying: so if you kill an enemy, you can then burn his body if you have a lighter and fuel. If you burn him, he is gone for good. But if you don't, he will respawn after you changed the floor of the building. The annoying part is that fuel is very limited and also used for other things. Which means you can't just burn everyone. This is annoying because if you have to revisit areas, enemies will have respawned if you didn't burn them. And at least for your first playthrough you don't know which areas you have to revisit. For the other runs I basically optimized it to revisit areas as little as possible and burn those enemies which are in those. And in those runs it was mostly fine, I barely had to refight enemies. And ammo isn't that scare, but like I said, fuel is. But this also is part of the reason why inventory space is that tight. Because if you wanna kill enemies for good this already takes 4 inventory spaces: a weapon, ammo for it, lighter and fuel. But then you also wanna take lockpicks with you for obvious reason, then ofc one weapon isn't that much and as soon as you get your second weapon you at least wanna take 2 weapons with you, meaning 2 more slots. Then maybe a health item. Those are already 8 slots, meaning just 3 left. And documents, story items like keys, other ammo or health items all take more space. Which all means I often had to backtrack to a save room because I simply coudln't pick up everything which isn't that bad because of the design of the game: you are in a building with 9 floors and change constantly between of them with an elevator and each one isn't that big. -then the boss fights aren't great, especially the third one as he can teleport and instantly hit you or hit you from distance with no way of dodging or blocking the damage. I also thought the first boss could do that too, but that's actually not the case, took me a while to figure that out tho and how to kill him. The second is kinda easy but also there I had to figure out how to kill him. Also not a great design choice that you basically can fight the first 2 bossess in direct sequence -small bugs like enemy ragdoll physics acting crazy sometimes, also often can see enemies through walls, but also encountered a single game breaking bug once in 4 playthroughs which could be easily fixed tho by saving and reloading the save So yeah, if you like the genre just like me this game is worth it. Also the price isn't that high.

  Glitchy, ugly, boring, souless game full of stolen assets from Unreal Engine and uses 100% stolen footage for the trailer. 10 minutes of playing and a bit of research was enough to tell me that this entire game is a scam to grab money. It should be removed from the steam store.

  Ebola 2 is like Resident Evil from Wish dot com. This is not a bad game, but it is far from being a good game. I understand that this is an Indie game, but some of the things inside are a way too much archaic. And it copy paste too much Resident Evil, from the locations, guns, by monsters to the bosses. Let's start with the STORY. It's very poor, there is no way to know more about it, there almost no in game information. A few notes that don't really say anything. The developer advertised this game as replayable, with many choices. It's not true at all, there is 0 replayability & 0 choices you can make. In the end of the game, there is one dialog which makes you think different but it one big bullshit. The story has only one stupid ending. Playability, controls, are normal for indie game. At least headshots works as intended. There is even stamina system, after running a while our character start to "bounce" funny. It looks more like he broke his leg, than get tired. Inventory is way too small, compared to the number of things we find. There is no separate notebook for notes, so they take up additional space in our inventory until we find our magic "resident evil" chest in one of the save game locations. Choosing textures are sometimes quite funny. From a worn wooden corridors, we go to a beautiful marble wooden library, with no trace of any damage. Voice acting is terrible. Cut scenes, you can see that this is a random collection of anything that does not make much sense. They were put there, just to have some. They don't make any sense, at least the initial ones. Ending ones are more connected, but still shit . Guns. Don't save your ammo for action rifle, it's the biggest trash in this game. Make less damage than basic pistol. You will find enough ammo to kill everything few times lol. Guns sounds are ultra bad. Reloading animations, are the worst, our character is looking like noob, while being the guy from "police special unit". There is few kind of monsters, but don't worry. You won't encounter much variety till the last few minutes of the game. Each floor got zombies, only one of the floors got few werewolves, other got some mutated plant and some invisible guys, ahh and zombie dogs and other 2 crocodiles . So it make 6 monsters and 3 dumb bosses. Some people complain about puzzles, if you track all your progress, and continue going how the game is telling you, you won't have a problem at all with anything. Game is holding your hand and telling you step by step where to go and what to do. There is a lot of smaller or bigger bugs, and you can see that many ideas, were never finished e.g. safe box in the starting area. Boss animations have been cut. Fight with 1st and 3rd boss is ultra bugged. Even if the game give you some "hints" in the notes which you find at the same floors, there are more or less pointless. You just need to shot the boss till it bleed out and die. <1st and 3rd>. 2nd boss is one big joke. You can only kill it will boring repeatable "action", so don't waste your ammo. Most of the achievements are ok, but the ones for complete of the game on each difficulty are stupid. Doesn't matter at all if you complete the game at the hardest level, you will have to rerun it for each difficulty level to get them all. Most of the screen shots, match the game, only the Fallout look a like doesn't, it's not in the game at all. There are 3 trailers, which are funny because, 1st on contain combined all materials from 2nd and 3rd. 1st one is mix of all cutscenes from the game , plus some part of the game from alpha stages I guess? Because this places doesn't look like that in this game, when you play. 2nd is only cutscenes visible in 1st trailer, and 3rd is only game parts from previous version of the game. Kinda strange way to make trailers. To sum it up. Not a bad game, but nothing special at all. If you are a fan of crapy indie horror games, this game is for you. It got few nice jump scares, which you won't expect, but nothing more than that. It's easy repetitive and dumb. There is no choice and the ending is only 1. If you are bored, and it is at 50% sale or more get it.

  A game composed of poorly slapped together assets from a developer known for making games with poorly slapped together assets, only this time they desperately want to be Great Value Resident Evil. In terms of design it's a copy-paste job from the first (also terrible) EBOLA game. It runs as well as a horse on rollerblades. It has voice acting more robotic than Microsoft Sam. I can only recommend this to people who have a fetish for stock footage, as it keeps showing up in awkward fahsion.

  lame, fist game doesnt run on my PC (ebola) This one (ebola 2) runs super glitchy and although it doesnt crash, the bugs on the game are horrible Tried ebola 3 and same thing, glitchy....

  This was actually a decent survival horror game that lasted about 5 hours. It has some VERY bad scripting and acting but I can look past that. The core gameplay itself was actually really fun. Combat was satisfying, puzzles are very simple. You cannot customize controls and you can NOT adjust FOV however I did not have an issue with the default FOV on a 2k 32” screen. I took a big chance with that because I get bad motion sickness in games with a narrow FOV. If you are curious about this game and love survival horror you can’t go wrong especially if you get it on sale. I always appreciate these small indie games.

  The game resembles a modern version of the old resident evil, which pleased me and reminded me as a child played it on the old Pentium 1. the Game is atmospheric, beautiful and sometimes frightening, but has some flaws. Although you can close your eyes to this, since it only went into early access. I wish the developer good luck and success in developing this game!

  I've played this for just over an hour and it has a lot of potential! it reminds me a lot of Resident Evil 1, which i absolutely love! i've had few jump scares already which is very welcoming, there are 2 things i'm not happy about: 1 - Please give an option to get rid of the top and bottom boarders so we can get a full screen 2 - A better torch! other than them 2 things this game is going to be EPIC! 9/10 from me so far, all the best and i hope this game get the love it deserves!
