  Andro Dunos 2 is the epitome of a retro styled shooter done right. Graphics are vibrant, varied and full of character. The gameplay has the right amount of complexity without being obtuse, having multiple weapons you can switch between as well as levelling them up at the end of a stage is a nice touch. The sound is synth rock heaven, it fits the game perfectly. My only minor nitpicks are screen tearing which can be sorted by setting vsync to fast in the nvidia settings and i would prefer the score to reset to zero if you continue. Andro Dunos 2 has given me the same old school vibes as the recent m2 developed GG Aleste 3. They have taken a classic old school shooter and recreated it perfectly and in many ways bettering the original. Its an unqualified success which should be enjoyed by everyone interested in videogames.

  There is a trend these days. A lot of youtubers will pick mediocre shmups from their steam library and cream their pants for 15 - 20 mins on how its the second coming of the lord or something. Well I being a skeptic and someone with taste have learned to keep away from reviews and make my own mind if I like any particular game or not. Let me tell you peeps this is indeed a great game from start to finish. Thoroughly engaging and awe inspiring at times. It certainly has its moments however the bosses might feel a little recycled, especially if you have played Picorinne Soft's other horizontal shmup Infinos Gaiden, which is another gem. The music is great. The visuals are right up my alley. The weapons are cool and there is an upgrade system where you level them up along with your shields etc. All in all if you crave for a 90s shmup and want to filter out all the bullshit games and go for something that hits the sweet spot you can't go wrong with Andro Dunos II. Dear Picorinne Soft please update your previous game Infinos Gaiden to the latest version you have released for arcades. I don't live anywhere near an arcade and I am sure I speak for a majority of players here who only game on Steam.... we are aching to play it. Keep making great shmups!!

  Absolutely Awesome side scrolling Shoot Em Up & incredible sequel. Very enjoyable game play, 7 well designed stages + 3 bonus stages to unlock with beautiful pixel art work. Great controls & Amazing music. Lots of weapons and a shop for upgrades & also different super weapons. Cool big Bosses and loads of variety of menacing enemies. If you are a big fan of retro style shoot em ups I highly recommend BUY this game. Well worth the asking price, Love this game, Excellent work both thumbs UP!!! :)

  Do you like a shmup where your death comes completely out of nowhere? Do you like a shmup with untelegraphed attacks and bullshit patterns? Do you like a shmup that constantly kill you over and over for the sake of being bullshit? Do you like a shmup with unfair enemy placement? Then you're going to love Andro Dunos 2, one of the most unfair, most bullshit and one of the worst shmups I've ever played this year. No wonder the original game was forgotten, because no one wants to play such an absurd, unfair, piece of bullshit garbage that kills you and gives you the middle finger at the very end. Fuck this game.

  Of all the Neo-Geo shmups to revisit, Andro Dunos is probably among the least exciting - so it's quite surprising to see the sequel turn out this good.

  A little crazy that this amazing game hasn't gotten more fanfare. Great presentation, superior ost, remarkable pacing- each level is short and sweet and the game overall never overstays its welcome. Controls are tight and feel 'right', boss battles are appropriately epic, the difficulty curve progresses as it should starting off simple and gradually getting more and more difficult. Then it has those little 'details' that every great shmup (or every great game for that matter) has. This game is basically perfect for what it is and gets my highest recommendation..

  A fun sequel to a classic Neo Geo MVS game. I suck at shooters like this and limited credits suck, but I have fun playing it every now and then.
