  Takes me back when life was simple. Coming home from school, runs up the old pc and play Age of Empires till i was told to go bed. This game will always have a special place in my heart! 11/10

  This is a classic game. I've played this game for 20 years since I was in elementary school. At that time the resolution is so bad and there was color issue (have to close process "explorer.exe"), and the most important one, the connectivity issue of multi-player. However, I really enjoyed that time trying out and solving the connectivity issue (even enjoyed more than the game itself). When it comes in Steam store, we no longer have this issue since it has been integrated into Steam network so well. I missed that time when we sat down and trying out port forwarding / firewall / router setting things and making jokes to each other. The game itself seems not important and interesting to us.

  When I was a child I would play this game. Now I bought it a second time because I want to be a child again... This is a game where you make an Empire that lasts through the Ages... Also when a friend of mine was telling me about this game when I was in third grade, he thought that it was called Agent Vampires. A game that has nothing to do with agents or vampires. Anyway, good game if you have friends who also want to be kids again.

  Age of Empires 2 is one of those games that you boot up once in a while, play for 5 hours straight and then wonder where time went. I've been playing this game since my schoolmates and I could sit two kids on one chair, and whenever I load it up now it's still an absolute joy to play. The mechanics are simple yet compelling, and the music is a perfect mix of medieval mystery and modern game-score. In short, go play it. If you're into oldschool RTS games you will not waste a dime buying this treasure :) Also - Played this game with my dad as a kid, and those are some of my fondest memories with him!
