  Picked this up during the last summer sale and I'm glad I did. It was great game and was very well done. The story was fairly straight forward but enough to keep me interested. The puzzles were challenging but not to the point where it was completely frustrating. The overall game controls were spot on and worked fine. In the final analysis, if you're looking for a solid game that can be played in one day, I highly suggest picking this one up. (8/10)

How to open it, with what, where to go, think of everything yourself. And that's right! The gameplay of Adam's Venture: Origins is built so that you start thinking not only about the puzzle, but also about its location. In addition, there is a variety here, you will not solve the same puzzles all the time. And the main character happily comments on everything that happens on the screen. Of the interesting things here there is a hook. Yes, this popular hook… It seems to be why he is needed in this game, but in Adam's Venture: Origins he is more suitable than ever. With it, you can feel like a Spider-Man. Or, for example, to overturn the bridge… But what is here, but unnecessary, is a torch. It is only required to pass through the web, although you will be haunted by a mystical one... Phew, I almost said too much.

  Result:

  The gameplay here is interesting, it will not bother you with monotony. And between the puzzles there is always a place for jumping with the help of a hook, research, espionage and listening to funny dialogues. You can only get bored here if you get stuck on one episode for too long. But there is almost no such thing here, the complexity is well balanced. In general, everything is fine, but we could add more dynamics and the opportunity to somehow use the torch in the game. Rating 8/10

  You know, I was going through this game, bored and uninterested, and then at some point I asked myself if I even wanted to keep playing, and my answer was no. So I stopped playing. I think that while the game looks .. eh ok.. well I mean it's not the most original aesthetic. Anyway, what I was going to say is that the puzzles in the game are not hard enough to challenge me, the traversal of the environment gets old and tedious fast, and the story isn't much to have me hooked. I just don't think this game is all that worthwhile to play. There are hints of good, but the game is like more of a fizzle, than even a spark or daresay a bang.

  A cheap Indiana Jones knock-off.... The voice acting, the story, the character movement and controls. It's almost laughable. The only reason why you may want to play are the puzzles, but even those can get repetitive after a while. Puzzles that can mosly be solved with logic. At a 90% discount, consider it if you are really bored and got nothing else to play. Otherwise stay far away.

  Plain. Neither the story nor the puzzles are interesting. My biggest question goes to the first room: why cut the painting "The Ambassadors" in half? It was too weird. Basically the entire game is about solving easy puzzles: Put 3 parts of ladders together to reach the top of the bookshelf; memorize 5 letters to unlock a safe; rotate quotes to make it in the right order... Action is using a gripping hook either to drag down walls or swing between platforms. From the library to the tomb to the mine but nothing is really exciting, maybe because the puzzles are just one simple step to solve, it feels like doing the last move of what Lara Croft does. The execution was poor, once the professor put a gun to the girl, I walked between them and nothing happened. During the escape I sneak behind guards to get 3 gasoline for a car, game lacks consistency as the vision of the guards changes unreasonably. I got frustrated after being caught too many times so I gave up. It was around 1/2 of the game, I checked a walkthrough and learnt the rest are nothing new. I give it a positive review, but do not recommend it if you have better games.

  This was okay, it was not a bad experience but also far from great. The game play felt like it was always missing something that I cannot place my finger on and as a result I just could not really get in to the game all that much. If you already own the game then sure take a day and play through it, and if the game goes on sale (ideally 100% off) then I would also recommend getting it.

  Omg. i so thought this game was more than provided in the pictures and trailer... a bit tomb raider alike but with more puzzles. but it was not..... lets start with pros: - nice graphics (for the environment) - puzzles can take some time (which is nice) then the cons: - very short game +- 4 hours!!!! - very easy - no variations in game play - blocky movement (cant jump on stone of 1 inch high....) - predetermined way to walk (no exploring) - voice acting - PRICE!!!!!!! - ending (kinda lame) it is basically around 5 hours of following a line and solve puzzles (not even that much puzzles) To make the summary whole literately the worst game i have ever bought on steam.!! dont let yourself be fooled by the pictures like i did. watch the walk trough on you tube if you want to know how it is. I think it sucks especially for this price!! my god there goes my money...
