The United States and West Indies automatically qualified for the World Cup as host nations. The top eight teams in the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup and two other teams will play directly in the main stage of the World Cup as per the ICC rankings on 14 November 2022. Besides, the remaining eight teams from the ICC regional qualifiers will get the opportunity to play in the World Cup
