Update!: The Telegram app now has an official widget. If you however enjoy this standalone app, it will not be removed from the store.

The Unofficial Telegram Widget provides you with a widget to be placed on your home screen. New Messages on Telegram can easily be read with just a glimpse at your home screen rather than opening the app itself and additionally, by touching the entries in the widget, you can reply quickly to important messages as it opens the selected chat in the Telegram App.

This widget uses Android Notification Access and therefore does not require you to log in to Telegram with this App, but it does require Special Notification Access in Android.
