One tap and off you go: egon is the new VGN eTarif, which makes it easy to use buses and trains. egon works entirely without the familiar tickets and price zones: To set off, simply check in with the egon smartphone app - and enjoy the journey in a relaxed manner.

Get in and sit back: You only need to activate the app once before driving. After that you can switch as often as you like. egon recognizes vehicle changes automatically - and also the end of the journey. For billing, all trips are totaled and debited at the end of 31 days.

Only pay for what you drive: For a trip with egon you pay a one-off basic daily price and a price for the kilometers driven. For the kilometers, egon counts the beeline of the individual sections between the start, transfer stops and destination.

Driving a lot is worth it: The more you drive with egon within 31 days, the cheaper the next trips will be. It can quickly pay off to use the bus and train more often. Because every journey is taken into account for the discount - the way to the office as well as your weekend trip to Franconian Switzerland.
