“Muallaqa al-Qais” is a poem from pre-Islamic Arabic poetry attributed to the poet Imur al-Qais al-Kindi, known as “The Diligent King”. Al-Tawil, and the narrators differed in the number of its verses, some of whom narrated that it came from 77 verses, others said that it was: 81 houses, and others said that it was 92 verses.

The poem includes a presentation of several incidents that the poet has gone through, as the poem moves from the main purpose of the poem, which is spinning, to description, to include several topics such as standing on the ruins, spinning stories, describing the horse, the night, the hunting trip and his adventures in all of that.
