Minecraft Earth is a free reality sandbox game that early access version launched last week for iOS, Android and ipadOS devices in the United States. Minecraft Earth takes franchise’s iconic design allowing players build with blocks and turn the real world into virtual game world. Before the release of Minecraft Earth, AR game world was dominated by Pokémon Go, Minecraft Earth will display different treasures, creatures, and environments depending on the players' real location. What surprises is that Minecraft Earth supports “build plates” function which are small sections of buildable materials. Besides, players can snap built plates into the real world using phone camera. The construction could be fine-tuned and moved outside in order to display a vivid AR game world on the player's phone. The most exciting part is that players can render the virtual in-game world with friends.

Minecraft Earth is currently available in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, South Korea, Philippines, Sweden, Australia, New Zealand, and Iceland. For the other regions, Minecraft Earth will be launched this year.
